Alright lads. I somehow managed to pack moments Veron in an electrum pack the other day. Sold him for about 800k and then bought this geezer for dot on 1 mil. I played him as a lone striker in a 4-2-3-1 using the engine chem style.

Honestly he's the best striker for his price.

Shooting

Very yummy indeed. This guy can bang them in from anywhere at any angle. A few times ive accidentally pressed shoot and it just goes in. He has the finesse trait which means he scores those mental finesse shots from outside the box. Not to mention the outside of the foot shot trait as well as 97 finishing and composure. What i will say is that his positioning is the best i've seen. He's always making runs and getting into just the right position in the box. Also the 5* weak foot! Norty.

Dribbling

Also very nice, he's not the most crazy dribbler but with an engine he has almost maxed out dribbling apart from agility and balance. But for me it's perfect and he can easily dribble past defenders and hold the ball up very well. Also responds very nicely to fake shots and ball rolls.

Passing

Perfect for a striker, 86 short passing and 84 vision is perfect for short link up play. But most of the time theres no point passing, just shoot u donut.

Pace

Feels fast but not mbappe, but he certainly has enough pace to get away from defenders in a one on one and make runs down the line.

Physicality and heading

Very nice indeed. In his first game he put prime vieira on the floor. His strength is nothing crazy but enough to out muscle full backs and have an extra second on the ball against big CBs. He hasn't really had any headed chances seeing as how bad it is on this fifa. He did have one chance at a very odd angle and it was a good effort. Power header trait is also pretty nifty.

Lastly his sexy sexy moustache is the cherry on top.

This guy is an absolute machine, scores everything inside and outside the box. It doesn't matter which foot. Since it is so key to have a 5* weak foot player in FIFA 20 he is so OP in front of the net. The opponent never knows which way I am going to go. He is not the most used player either, so many of your opponents will not know which his best foot is either.

I bought this guy instead of Dalglish 87 just because of that his card looks better in general. Yeah, he doesn't have 4-star skills but I'm okay with that. I am a skiller type a guy but I'll just pass the ball over to Neymar if I wanna do something fancy.

His passing is also insanely good for saying 74, I didn't feel a difference from him and Stoichkov 92, which has 86 passing. All his through balls went to my players and his long passing says wrong!

He is also so so strong!! That strength is so vital, I always protect the ball with him(using L2/LT) and even Van Dijk can't get the ball from him.

His volley has also been insane. I often do the lofted pass to him inside the box and he scores all of them. He wins a lot of headers too since he got the trait strong header.

I've used him in FUT Champs this weekend and he has been a game-changer and a real poacher. Recommend if you're looking for a 5*weak foot player and ST.

30 games, 26 goals, 14 assists as an alone striker

So I got tempted to get him for my poor man RTG by some favourable reviews I read. Bought him for 1,7 mil, now I am trying to sell him for below 1,5. With tax that will be a loss of around 300 k. Was it worth testing Ian? Well... Yes and no.

I am a mediocre player and Ian played for me in a 41212 narrow as a striker alongside Nedved. This WL was also quite mediocre for me with a gold 1 finish (thanks for the faboulous, super responsive gameplay BTW EA... NOT!). I am capable of doing elite 3. I played some games with that team in div rivals and squad battles as well. Ian scored a total of 63 goals in 55 games for me.

Right off the bat: this guys has a great shot on him, that's for sure, though the shot power could be a bit higher than 90 (95 at least). Problem is you kinda have to play him with engine to get his responsivness up as much as possible, otherwise he will feel stiff. With engine he honestly moves quite well. It is not Daniel James good, but his senior native is no slouch with dribbling. The 3 star skills is obviously a liability and I found myself lacking the scoop turn and berba spin a lot.

Going back to that shot - with the traits he's got, he often finishes on both feet where others would struggle, that's just a great ability to have. Nice finesses, nice outside foot shots. Chips shots seem to work as well. Nonetheless, and maybe it's just the horrific laggy gameplay EA serves us on the weekends, he did miss some sitters for me, which was annoying considering the price.

Pace feels fine, but he won't be a speed demon for you (again comparing to the welsh boy James). Passing it at time questionable unfortunately, as he misplaced seemingly easy short ones at times. Forget about long passing.

Physicals? They are acceptable, he can shield off defenders, even the VVD type monsters sometimes, but it's not the type of iron stance you would see with some other powerful strikers.

To conclude, he is a guy that will more often than not take his chances and score a bunch for you. He will not carry your team though, as he cannot create these chances out of thin air as some other offensive players can. I enjoyed this mustached gentlemen quite a lot, but after the WL and drop in price, it will be a costly adventure.
