I recently had gotten a lot of coins and decided to try out fut birthday griezmann. I paid around 1.4 million for him and he is worth EVERY SINGLE COIN. Out of all the cards ive tried this fifa, he has to be the most fun card as of this review. He is an outstanding goal scorer and the 5 star weakfoot shows itself every game. with the hunter chemistry style, i play him along neymar at striker in a 4-4-2. he plays as my right striker with the false 9 tactic on him. although the tactic has him stay back more often, i always seem to find him being the top goalscorer each game i play. his dribbling feels extremely responsive, and his passing is perfect. he is one of, if not the best CAM/CF/St anyone can have and would highly recommend getting for yourself. He has an amazing goal contribution for me, and i honestly will probably keep him for the rest of the game.

When i packed griezmann he went straight into my team and all i can say is that he is something else. The card is very well rounded with stats that are good across the board for an attacker, his passing is also remarkable where he can pretty much ping balls to any player . With the addition of the 5* weak foot he is now very good on both feet and you don't have to worry about putting it onto his left foot.

So when this card first came out, I wanted to try this straight away. I had been using Griezmann in the beginning of fifa 20 and I really liked him back then. I bought him for 1.530.000, which is a fair price for a card with stats like these in my opinion. I put a hunter chem style on him to boost his pace, then I put him in striker in a 4-2-3-1 formation with Neymar behind him. Played a few rivals games with him and then went straight into the weekend league.

The first few games I really had to adjust my style of play. Before him I was using Mbappe in the striker position. Due to his splattering pace you outrun defenders pretty easily, and with his strength he also wins a 50-50 every now and then. Even with the hunter chem style, Griezmann didn't even get close to that pace. I wasn't expecting him to, but the difference was pretty big in my opinion. Griezmann also get's pushed of the ball easily in comparison to Mbappe. If your style of play is to play deep balls behind the defender, I would suggest Mbappe over Griezmann.

Then when I started to adjust my style of play, Griezmann's presence became more noticeable on the pitch. I started using him as a sort of "false 9", where I didn't play with through balls anymore, but by building up attacks slowly and keeping the ball in posession. This is where Griezmann stood out. Let me tell you this: If Griezmann gets the ball within 20 meters from the goal and he is able to get a shot off, it's probably a goal. Left foot, right foot, power shot, finesse shot, it doesn't really matter he can do it all. In 30 games of weekend league he managed to score 46 and assist 17. Especially his finesse shots from the edge of the box are something else.

Another point in which Griezmann stood out, is his passing. One word: phenomenal. I've seen this man giving trough balls to other attackers, disgusting. At some point he was even giving through balls which Xavi in his prime wouldn't even think about. Even in the shitty gameplay this weekend (at least, my gameplay was shitty) his passing was on point.

Overall, I would recommend him if he fits your style of play. Don't expect blistering pace from this guy of physical presence, but do expect an insane shot (with both feet) and insane passing. I'm switching back to Mbappe after this weekend because he fits better into my style of play.

(For context, I am a division 4 player who usually finishes gold 1 in weekend league)

For anyone wanting a short review of how Griezmann holds up post TOTS, I thought i'd let you know my experience this past WL.

I just achieved my first elite 3 finish thanks in no small part to this guy. He played in the central CAM position in a 4231 in the squad linked above on 8 chem (hunter), with Atal playing ST.

He tore apart weaker opposition with ridiculous dribbling and shooting on both feet. Against stronger opposition his playmaking really shone, collecting lots of assists and still popping up with a goal every other game. He feels very agile and pretty fast with the hunter chem style, while he isn't rapid, i found if he was through 1v1 there weren't many CBs who would catch up. Really this guy was a game changer for me along with Atal, I'd strongly recommend this card to anyone interested, while he doesn't have the crazy stats of other TOTS cards, he out-performs many I've played with. I should mention I rarely get over 1 goal per game with a card as I only play champs and occasionally rivals, both Atal and Griezmann have over 1 GPG. Even with his price dropping I don't mind because the card won't be leaving my team any time soon.

Unreal! 1.5/1.6kk for this card is an unreal price!I bought him and I sold my Eusebio to play him at striker.

Great speed and turn,control and insane shoot. In the box, out the box, doesn't it metter.

After this thursday this card will increase of price even more and people don't know it.

Ben Yedder is almost 1.8kk but he is RW and he has worst link of Griezman.
