After 90 rated Ruud, I wanted to try a different icon. I went for Klose cause he was a machine in real life and I needed one.
At first, I needed to get used to him. I started playing him in a 4222 formation, however, I wanted to have a central cam behind him to give him all the balls.
So I switched to the 41212 formation, where he was together with reus and promes. I stopped playing when I reached gold 3.
His pace was decent, once he was away he could finish. he won't outpace a varane or gomes. luckily i didn't use him in that way.
in the weekend league games, almost everybody was with 9 players within the box. "Defending" and using the autoblock.
In this situation, Klose manages to shine as no other player can. I would definitely recommend him to any player who struggles to play against teams like that.
Once the ball reaches him he has the ability to dribble and score. you can easily hold L2, turn and score. no defender will stop him like that.
not only can he finess he can also shoot the ball through the net. from any angle, he can shoot in the far corner.
I expected that crosses would be a bit more op when using Klose. with his heading and jumping, I expected to keep scoring crosses. this wasn't the case.
he did score some headers. but when playing virgil van dijk he is nowhere to be found.
like I said in the first sentence I used ruud before miroslav. I would choose klose any day of the week.
