This guy is absolutely insane! Makes the most score-hero goalie saves. He links up amazingly with lenglet, varane, kounde, Hernandez, van dijk. His diving is insane (can easily save penalties that go in bottom/top corner) and has amazing reflexes. He is amazing at saving chip shots due to his massive height, and is amazing at saving whilst rushing up (unlike Ter Stegen), due to his ok speed. How this guy is below 10k is beyond me. Probably the best value for money player in the game right now. Kicking seems a bit poor for an 80 rating however.Handling is good (put him on comes out for crosses and he will catch every corner)
I have now used Areola in 2 fut champs and he is the worst goalkeeper I have ever used in Fifa 21. He doesn't save anything and does so much weird.
But he is cheap so if you need a cheap French keeper you can use him but I would not recommend it. So if you need a cheap goalkeeper try Nick Pope instead.
