First off, hopefully you and your family are safe and well during these really challenging times - I wish you all the best :)
Well well well, where to start? A card that, on FIFA, looks pretty dreadful (in terms of a RW with 58 pace... dear me) but if you watched the 2014 WC 2 players stood out - Ochoa of Mexico and James for Colombia. A move to Madrid which overall didn't end up too well, and now here he is at Everton... one if those transfers I looked at and went "Eh?" Anyway, enough of me writing his actual biography, more onto the card.
Overall, you're definitely getting your money's worth - but it remains to be seen if he will still be useful in a few weeks.
Used at CAM for 15 games now in a 4-3-1-2 behind Eden Hazard andd Dominic Calvert-Lewin; here are some pros and cons.
As Chris Eubank would put it - his shooting is 'Stupendous'. Especially with the HUNTER applied, you can press shoot inside the box and know it has a real chance of going in.
Passing is outrageous - so many luvly through balls for DCL to run onto and finish (also an insanely good player).
So agile, and with the HUNTER, he doesn't feel like 68 pace at all. In all fairness, 79 agility feels like a lie due to the 88 dribbling stat.
Finesse a long shot and that bad boy is whipping into the top corner - delightful
89 composure means he literally won't ever let you down, especially this early in the game.
Nice links to the likes of Allan and Calvert-Lewin, for smaller budgets links to Gbamin and Doucoure too.
58 base pace on a winger really disturbs me, if I'm being honest. Definitely noticeable against defenders when in a sprint to get to the ball.
2* weak foot is another bummer, but with short passes it hasn't been an issue. Shots and longer passing is where it becomes a proper 2* weak foot. BUT does have the outside foot shot trait which does definitely come in handy.67 stamina hasn't been awful for me, but won't be so good in a few weeks.
Underrated as heck. This man is a game-changer in midfield. Don't be fooled by the pace. yes he is slow but look at those triple 88's. This guy is deadly. He finishes everything in the box, and rarely misplays a pass. Dribbling at times feels a little clunky, but still very good quality. Play him as a Central CAM and NOT ON THE WING. HE will do absolute bits for you.
Shooting is lethal
Passing is menacing
Dribbling is fairly decent
Pace is obviously a let down, but can be worked around
first of all i am an division 1 player and get gold 2 in weekend league just wanting to have some more fun in fifa and well it worked with this card
we have all seen his 58 pace and its really bad but his passing dribbling and shooting just make up for it get the r1 pass (on ps4) turn once or twice give a deep ball to a fast striker and your done this works for me even if i do it 5-6 times i get 4-5 goals off it its really sick how easy he does it and his passes feel alot better than for example de bruyne who also has good passing but james is just special
his shooting inside or outside the box doesnt matter the ball just goes so fast and with a finesse shot outside the box 90% chance its going top bins and in the box just shoot it in the corner you got a big chance its done for the opponent
when it comes to his dribbling he is pretty hard to get of the ball he gets alot of luck with him where he gets tackled but just turns around and goes on with the ball and he spins like crazy feels as if he is dancing
his shots go really fast and for the goalie its hard to save these and finnese outside the box is amazing
his passing is the best i have ever seen on a player i used de bruyne and its feels like james got beter passing
dribbling is also great hard to get off the ball just keeps going
his stats are lying he feels like a god ingame
2* weak foot making him easy to read
58 pace killing the card
cant dribble 2 people easy just doesnt have the pace to get away from the defender
