The reason behind the title is because I had 88 rated Future Stars Osimhen on FIFA 20 and he was a God for me. His card reminds a lot about 93 Thierry Henry on FUT 20 so when I saw that he had got an inform I just had to try him out. The only instruction I used for him was to stay central. I played him with a hawk chemistry style so I could boost his acceleration, shooting, strength and aggression a bit more since it complements his work rates.
Pace: 89
82 acceleration is not the best but it works. He can be a bit slow the first 2 seconds that he's ran with the ball, but once that 94 sprint speed kicks in he's almost unstoppable since he's tall and very often stays on his feet when opponents try to grab him or tackle him. The hawk chemistry style boosts his acceleration to 87 and his sprint speed to 99.
Shooting: 83
85 positioning and 87 finishing is really good base stats for an 82 rated striker. He's got 81 shot power which is alright. I don't go for long shots outside the box so 75 long shots doesn't bother me. The hawk chemistry style makes him lethal in front of goal with 90 positioning, 93 finishing and 91 shot power. He's only got 76 composure but 8/10 chances finds the back of the net.
Passing: 68
Yeah, 68 passing is not great but it definitely works. Sometimes he surprises and plays amazing through balls. On a bad day he can waste the ball a lot when trying to find a pass forward.
Dribbling: 78
Also not spectacular stats but definitely not bad. 82 agility, 83 reactions and 80 ball control actually works fine for me. Don't let the 72 balance fool you - he rarely falls over and is quite hard to push of the ball.
Physicality: 82
89 stamina will make him run the whole match so you don't have to worry about using substitutes. He will make your opponents centre backs extremely tired in the last minutes of the game and can therefore just sprint past them on the last counter-attack. The hawk chemistry style boosts his jumping to 95, his strength to 84 and aggression to 88. Because of his long legs he can often steal or intercept the ball back from his opponent right after he's lost it.
Lethal finisher - rarely misses a 1v1. He's got everything in the shooting department and can finish with his 4 star weak foot. Often scores braces.
Sprinter - he's a bit "Usain Boltesque". Very tall and rapid fast.
Hard worker - constantly tries to get involved forward, whether it's making runs behind to receive a through ball or making space for his team mates. Often wins the ball back after he's lost it because of his long legs, 88 aggression and defensive work rate.
Value for money - absolutely outrageous for his price that's around 10-13k. I've used other Serie A strikers - Lukaku, Immobile, Martínez. Osimhen just takes the crown for me.
Steam train - as I said before, he is sluggish before he's reached his top speed. Make sure you're in good space before sprinting with him.
Dribbling - it might be the 3 stars skills for some of you skillers out there that is the major turn-off. As I mentioned before, if you're like me who just wants your strikers to be fast, physical, lethal and rarely use advanced skills, then Osimhen is the right choice for you. He's decent enough to dribble past opponents when he's sprinting or just when keeping the ball close to his feet. Because of his height he will feel heavy when twisting and turning most of the times but he can at times out-strength his defender when things get tight.
