He's just brilliant. The pace of Mbappe pared with the finishing of prime Ronaldo (at least it feels like that with a finisher). He makes a lot of sweat assists due to his pace. His Dribbling isn't bad either. The only weakness are his 3* Skill.
I needed a soft link into Talisca and IF Paulinho for the weekend and this man looked just tasty enough with a finisher to warrant dropping Ben Yedder and Griezmann from my setup. I picked my man up for minimum price, 9,600, meaning I can sell him for literally no loss at any time. I made the right decision.
I'm a division 1 rivals player and he played 3 games of weekend league for me already, just to give a frame of reference.
He is blisteringly fast. He is always running in behind slower center backs, and even the likes of Varane and Ramos. Even if there's some sort of melee for the ball, Santos has enough strength to hold them off.
Despite his poor passing stat, he gets a ton of assists to Talisca, Messi and Dembele playing CAMs behind him. They're mostly sweaty balls, but he's lobbed some LB+Ys to Messi after making a wide run in behind.
The value for coins on this man is insane. I'm used to using Ben Yedder with a hunter up top, but this guy is better than him. I'm sure there will be games where I can't hit the net with him, but they haven't come yet.
I packed him not so long ago, he was on the bench for a couple of games and then I gave him a chance in the starting 11, and I didn't expect him to be so good. his pace is absolutely nuts, his finishing ability is awesome, he has very decent dribbling stats and he's super strong.
Tried to do some more fun teams lately, always wanted to try out this bad boy called Sergio Santos. Decided to link him up with Long and Lima (really love these two) and Mukhtar IF. Playing him in a 4231, David Mollet as a CAM to feed Sergio with them filthy passes. Sergio has a Deadeye chem style on his card, boosting shooting and passing. Have to say he's amazing. He is really quick, has great dribbling and he's also kinda strong. The best thing is actually his shooting. He converts every pass, every cross and everything else. He nearly scores every chance, its unbelievable for a 76 rated card, he scores from any ankle. I only tried him in rivals, had not a single opponent who had a bad team or so. Buzzing for the WL with my madlad now. I highly recommend him for having fun again. Do yourself and the community a favor, leave the Mbappes, Neymars etc on the bench for once.
