I played with this guy about 40 games, 20 of them before the upgrade and 20 after.
Hes a very solid card, but not insane...
Best position for him is CAM or second striker/false nine. I wouldnt use him on the wings...
I think the first upgrade did him well and he fells a lot better than before.
If this card gets 1-2 more upgrades he will be really sick.
I used hunter and engine on him... engine felt a little better i must say, i think he needs that balance boost... also his passing is top notch with it (93 vision, 93 short passing, 89 long passing)
You could also use Finisher, but i think his shooting is good enough.
If you need him for links give him a try... Hes a really nice card to link Ligue 1 with Bundesliga. ;)
I tried Draxler (Chem: Marksman) as my second CDM next to Marquinhos and he is soooooo good. First i thought he is too offensive for this position, but he is the perfect match to feed my Offence with brillant passes.
Also in the Defence, he is doing a good, solid job with some nice Tackles.
Imagine PSG will reach the next round of UCL, he will getting better and better.
His shooting sklills are insane!
He feeds my Offence (Alessandrini - Neymar - Mbappe) with brillant passes.
Overall, this is hands down the best and the most bang-for-your-buck offensive-minded CM I've used. A massive upgrade to his pace and shooting (which is top notch already,) combined with very good dribbling and passing skills with a 5 star weak foot make him lethal wherever he may be involved in transition, on a counterattack, or just straight up open play in the final third of the pitch. whether he is playing the final ball, scoring a goal or, just as importantly, making the pass before the final ball, his precision is deadly. His pace with a hunter allows him to get in behind very easily, along with a 5* weak foot that is rarely matched by any goalkeeper. The reason he works so well for me is because I have him on FULL CHEMISTRY WITH FREE ROAM. If you use him any in any other type of formation or instructions, I obviously can't guarantee the same results. And again, I cannot get get enough of the 4star skills combined with the amazing 5star weak foot with great shooting/passing ability. If you need a moderately cheap game changer/match winner in tough situations from the midfield, here's your man.
God tier: weak foot (combined with great technical stats.)
Excellent: finishing anywhere inside 30 yards/ overall technical ability with the ball/ run intelligence (on free roam)/ he rarely makes a passing mistake (around 30-35 passes per game only 0-3 are off target or don't reach the receiver.)
Great: pace: he is very fast (91 pace with hunter)
Good: height (6 foot 2 combined with a nice 82 jumping)
Low tier: defense, but since he's fast and tall, this usually makes things a little easier. His defensive weaknesses aren't that big an issue because that's not really what he's in my squad for, and I have him partnered with gold Sissoko (79) and UCL live Sanson (82) who both always get the job done. Basically this means if you have him partnered with midfielders that are great ball winners, Draxler's defensive abilities aren't very important.
