Honestly the best CB Ive used all game, i thought he would be no better than Varane or VVD, but i was wrong, he just tackled everyone like it was his hobby, Mbappe if i want to make a serie A Team felt like a cardiff player (Yes im a swansea fan) his agility felt better than i was expected and he could give off the passes like he was prime Xavi, very impressed with him,

Since i have never done a review, I thought I do it for my whole team because I'm madly in love with it and the more I play with it, the better it gets.
Let's start with Gosens. I was really happy when he came out for a reasonable price since I did Khedira as well to link Untrade Ronaldo (yes yes I know lucky me).
I also did the Eredivise Objectives from which I got Baumgartl (also a beast). My team build itself.
Anyways I can recommend Gosens 100% if you can fit him in your team. He is a top tier CB imo. Enough pace to catch all your Rashfords and Adamas. I would recommend a chemistry style that boost his defense since 83 is decent but not what you want. You can play him CDM but his clunkyness on the ball (69 balance 74 agility) doesnt fit my playstyle in CDM.
I am a gold 1-elite 3 player. I decided to put him in my Serie a team because his stats are insane but i didn't have much faith. He surprised me, he is really fast with a shadow, he didn't seem strongbut he is, I played against mbappé neymar and cristiano and Gosens made them his sons in the field. I really advice to get him because his cost is very low for the player he is, he is better than every defender i tried (Varane, GImenez Rulebreaker, diego carlos TOTGS...). His autoblocks and his position in the field are also insane and to pass the ball and dribbling he is better than anyone.

I played him at first as an CDM and he already felt good there, however after packing Kante and Mbappe from my 85+ pack from Icon Swaps I decided to give him a go at CB instead and oh my, he is even better there from me. I even prefer him over my Base Vidic I play next to him.
Pace:
I play him with an shadow and his pace is absolutely great in game. He can keep up with anyone and outpace most attackers at the ball for me. He is really fast for an CB. 10/10.
Shooting:
I didn't get any shooting opportunities with him (of course you won't really get any as CB), so I'll just be judging his headers here. They feel fine enough, overall I can't complain. 7/10.
Passing:
I really like his passing as an CB, it feels very good. He can place good long passes to start an counter opportunity. 9/10.
Dribbling:
His reactions feel good for me and his agility feels much better than expected from 74 agility. 8/10.
Defending:
I thought at first that at least from an pure defending aspect he would be not quite as good as Freeze Chiellini who I had in there before, however I can't feel an downgrade at all ingame. He easily tackles everyone for fun. 10/10.
Physical:
Him being rather small for an CB with an height of 1,83m is easily compensated by his 96 jumping and 90 stamina for an CB is great. He feels stronger than 80 strength for me and his 84 aggression hasn't been an letdown, even if I preferred if it would be a bit higher. I'm feeling an 9/10 here.
Overall I even prefer him over Freeze Chiellini who I had before and is the best Serie A CB I've used so far. For the 100k I bought him (on PC) he has an great value for money and I can't recommend him enough if you can fit him in. 10/10.
When I first saw this card, I honestly didn't think much of it, already having NIF Ramos/De Ligt and Base Vidic, I felt anything but a Varane or any other really fast/strong CB would be a straight upgrade.
But then I played him a few times, and looked a bit more into his stats, this guy is crazy complete for a CB, if it wasn't already obvious from his cards base stats. While his agility/balance isn't very high, his other dribbling stats are supreme for a CB, which honestly feels more worth it. With an Anchor he's a solid 99 jumping and 90 strength already standing at 6' foot tall, and as a left footer he's probably the best left sided CB currently in the game. 88 pace too is also *very* good for a defender, and he will keep up with basically any attacker thrown at him, and with 90 stamina he can go all damn game.
But while these are probably the main things you look for in a defender, it really isn't what makes him stand out the way he does - his passing.
Never before has a non TOTY/TOTS CB started so many attacks for me, if he's on his left an over the top ball is basically a 1v1 for your striker, and with a 3* WF he can still get any clearance to your midfielders even on his right. On the ball he plays like a mid to late game midfielder, with basically no sacrifice in defensive ability.
I am extremely happy with this man in my team, and feel very safe when he's the last man in line.
(With anchor) Physical is crazy good... *crazy* good.
88 pace and 90 stamina means no attacker will outrun him at any point of the game.
Very solid on the ball, can carry and pass out from the back.
Passes like Pirlo on a good day.
If you really want a downside: His shooting is only like a 6.5/10, he scores a few really good finesse's when it lands on his left after a corner, and the only noticable lack I feel from changing out my Ramos is that Gosens scores slightly less.
