Finally the day arrived ro the Ligue 1 POTM. I was happy when I saw him because he was really cheap and had a green link with my Atal. Besides Atal he doesn’t have the best links but I think that link is enough as Atal didn’t have the best links too. He had 3* wf and skills which isn’t amazing, but at least it is decent. I make skills, but I don’t overuse them so it wasn’t really such a big problem the 3* skills. And I’m used to have right footed players so I rarely shoot with him with his wf. Anyways the rare shoots he make with his left foot were good because of the outside foot shoot. I was planning to put him a hunter for increasing his speed and for that 98 finishing, but at the I ended using a finisher because of that agility and dribbling upgrade. Sometimes some really speedy defenders reached him but he had great pace plus he banged the goal every time he shot. Another thing that I liked is that he was really hard to stop because he was really strong, before my strikers were bodied by defenders, but now he is the one that will body defenders. His passes are enough for a striker, only problem were when they were long and/or with his left foot. So don’t expect him to be Mbappe, or Ben Yedder, but he is really good and is an absolute bargain for that price.

I was first hesitant to do him, but then i saw the shot power. 3* weak foot wont matter if he smashes the ball in the net. Great on the ball with finisher. His pace with his physical make it easier for him to muscle defenders. For people who don't skill, he is mbappe level. I play him behind Felix POTM and they just play like they were made to play together. Play him infront of a good CAM with good passing and BOOM, easy goals. The only problem with him is his skill moves. High / High work rates didnt do much difference ingame. His one two passes with a good CAM (again Felix) are just guaranteed goals

When I logged onto Futbin the day this came out I was blown away by even his base stats. I completed him for around 30k and using fodder that was left in my club. Even if you have to pay the full 80k I would say he is worth it. The only problem is that you need to informs with some rating for the SBC. He links well into teams using strong links to players like Mollet and Atal. He is a very physical striker which means his ball retention is insane, so he isn't easily pushed off of the ball, and he has the pace to be able to get in behind. For me he plays upfront with freeze Gnabry and they are the perfect combination. Another thing that I have struggled with all year is to find strikers that can pass, and his 80 passing makes him 10x better than players like Calvert-Lewin. His shooting is insane and I have a hawk on him to boost his physical, pace, and shooting. He is very clinical and actually feels way more agile than he is due to his height.

Slightly low dribbling but hat doesn't really matter
To start, I am an average player on FIFA 20, no more than Gold 3 Fut Champs when I can be bothered to play and I hover between DIV 3 and 4.
I had been a bit bored of FIFA for a while having not found a new player I wanted to tryout until this Delort card arrived. His inform had already looked like another upgrade would turn him into the perfect striker for my play style: not to tall that he's clunky and slow, but still strong enough to bully the best defenders. Delort POTM does not disappoint and do not let the 3* WF and SM fool you. First game with him he volleys a shot past Alisson from outside the box into the top right. This was from a cross from 77 rated Moses Simon whilst Delort was sandwiched between VVD and Gomez so had no right to get to it at all. His AI also seems fairly intelligent knowing when to drop back and make perfect runs rarely being caught offside. For 85k he can easily start for you or be an overpowered supersub as he offers a play style I can only see in SIF Watkins and Mid-Icon Shevchenko.
Pace - Does not need a boost, quick enough to out accelerate the likes of Gomez and Varane
Right Foot - in any space, he will find the roof of the net 9/10 times.
Short Passing - An ideal ST for 2 ST formations as he is perfect for laying off passes and then running into space.
Agility - Normally with physical strikers they are hard to turn and run but I have found him to be very responsive on the ball
Jumping - This may be down to his height but his jumping stat is a bit misleading, given a free header or up against a smaller defender (6ft2 or below) he'll win the header every time but some taller physical defenders such as VVD he seems to make the decision to not jump and contest the header unless in front of the defender.
Right Foot - I know this is also a Pro but his 3* WF and his AI model seem to always force him to take shots with his right even if his left foot would be in a better place to shoot, this has resulted in some unusual animations and missed opportunities in the box. However when you can force him to use his left foot he is just as lethal, his weak foot only seems to affect him outside the box.
Long Shots - Despite having good power, composure and okay long shots as stats, they never seem to trouble keepers. By this I mean they often don't even hit the target unless shot across the goal. Ironically despite having awful curve and no finesse shot trait, his outside the box finesse shots seem to be fairly accurate and powerful.
Nation - This isn't a weakness really but you should be aware before completing him, he has very few usable strong links with the SBC Atal being the only decent option so I have resorted to icons to play other players I want around him.
So.........at the time of writing this review, he's no longer available to get as a player. I've used him as my main striker for a month now and I have to hold my hands up, he's actually pretty decent. For a striker, you'd have to say he doesn't put a foot wrong (except for a few obvious caveats), the finishing on his is excellent, the passing is passable (no pun intended) and his dribbling, *not* skill moves but actually dribbling is actually very underrated and he's able to give me a lot of assists from positions where he's surrounded a myriad of defenders, accurately maneuvering his feet and the ball fashioning chances for others with this hold-up. the difficulties with him are the obvious 3-star ratings but on the contrary, these are actually underrated. yes, his weak foot rating does not matter because his finishing on any finishing chem style is automatic. Put him one on one and it doesn't matter what you do, it's going in. Finishing with delort is the easiest thing you can do. Well when I said it doesn't matter what you do, I definitely wasn't talking about finessing. his curve is as poor as it gets and please whatever you do, stay away from finessing with him. Also obviously linking him is quite tasking but I get around that using mahrez or flashback ben afra. ALSO mostly importantly I would say his heading stats are Ronaldo-esque (on marksman) but if that's what you're expecting then he's a bit underwhelming nonetheless, he gets his head up to a lot of stuff which means you'd find joy crossing to him. Also, I play him in a 442 mainly and let him be on target man duty but when he gets in behind it's automatically a goal and so I feel you'd get more joy playing him in behind. I just have to say, the number of defenders that can catch him arent that much, and the number of defenders that can body him off the ball in this game are even less, but these two together and I don't think you can fill a backline enough defenders that can both catch him and dispossess him or even slow him down.

My opinion is he is not for META players .I did him cause i have many players in my club .His ingame stats are 50/50.He has 3 star 3 star so thats not good ,but if you shoot with outside foot its not too bad .In match i did only stepover and ball roll .Im In fourth division and i played against maldini, inform gomez ,varane and much more and he just can run through the efence . Im playing verjgang style so im not much using wings .On wings i have neymar and Portu but Neymar is moving in center of ground .Delort and neymar are good pair
