So I saw the Mahrez SBC come out for the daily 6pm promo and I knew I had to complete it for my La Liga/PL hybrid. The SBC itself wasn't to expensive so I completed, and although his base stats didn't look to special, this card is insanely good. I used him this weekend during FUT Champs and he was insane. I played him as a central CAM in a 4-2-3-1 behind Joao Felix and he supplied many assists and goals.

I did Mahrez for some reasons: he's 5*4*, RW/RM and has very good stats.
When we look to Premier League we can only see few options when we think about RM/RW player: Salah and Lucas. Some use Raphinha, some use previous versions of Mahrez or even Bale but there is few options to put on your team so this Mahrez is a must have for the ones that isn't very happy with Salah's 4*3* and wants a quality player using fodder (even not using his price is pretty decent).
Mahrez moves smoothly and his dribble stats are amazing. I used him as a CAM (most of my games) but he ran out of stamina too fast and I felt him not so productive as I thought he is as a ST. He moves very well in the pitch and have a decent attacking AI but not as best as many other players for the same value.
His shooting is amazing, lads. Truly amazing. The reason for it is due his Finnesse Shot trait and believe me or not sometimes his 4* WF feels like 5*. I used him as a CAM and ST as I said on this WL and he did the difference: 29 games, 21 goals, 17 assists.
The major con that I found are his physical stats: 63 jumping, 58 strength and 50 aggression. If you don't know how to dribble some major meta defenders like VVD and Varane will put him on their pocket if you use him as a ST.
As long as I use 4-1-2-1-2 (2) formation put him as a winger wasn't an option for me but I bet he'll be very productive on the side of the pitch.

PLAYED ONLY A FEW RIVALS GAMES AND WEEKEND LEAGUE
I used Mahrez on RW in a 4231 formation. Firstly, he played CAM but was not good enough, and then i packed Baggio Baby so I decided to put him in the wing and... football class began... he's not the kind of winger that overpasses players with his pace. He feels soooooooooo smooth with the ball and the 5* are on point. Just to give you an idea, Mahrez would play as Messi would in real life: he dribbles, stops the ball, passes the ball and runs, calls it, fakes to the left, etc. I was lucky enough I did him for free, and City are a good prem team so easily he'll upgrade next week. HOPE HE PLAYS GOOD MATCHES.

I was going to skip this SBC,as I had no real need or desire for him but then he absolutely destroyed me in a match,so I rinsed my club and completed him. Boy, was that a great decision. With yet another upgrade incoming, that now brings him to 91 overall,he will BOSS the right wing with even more urgency.If you struggling in a match,get the ball to him and he will bamboozle his way into a chance,foul,assist or a goal.He is silky smooth on the ball and has bags of tricks,understated speed and amazing passing.His finishing is on point too,especially his finesse shots.I was sleeping on him for a long time but with each upgrade he is further cementing his place on the right wing of my team.The closest I can compare him to is probably Neymar.They have similar body type and movement. Regret In Peace to those who skipped on him,as this is THE best value SBC in FIFA21.
