Well, this is my first ever review on FUTBIN, so cut me some slack. I did this SBC as soon as it came out as I knew this card would easily fit into my team, and i needed a maestro/ CAM positioning player for my squad as my current formation was struggling. The squad I have linked is before any changes, and in-game, I go to to 4-2-3-1, with Felix up top and Aspas in CAM. Aspas basically plays as like a slower, worser dribbling Messi. If he gets the ball from the outside of the box, curls it with his left foot and it will usually fly in the top corner. And I personally put a Hunter on him cuz I'm a pace freak, but an Engine chem style would be fantastic on him as a Winger, or even at that CAM position, where he shines the most. OH MAN. Does this card have a sweet pass on it. He can do excellent passing, even without a chem style to boost his passing. He can do it all, long pass, short pass, crossing, you name it. And because of this, it's why I decided to play him as a CAM. Only complaint about this card is that he only has 3 star skills, which can screw you over in certain situation, and same with the 7 balance, but that can be fixed via an engine chem style to boost it up to 86. Excellent card, well worth the price.

My first review, sorry for my English Im not native. First of all, this guy is a MUST if you use LaLiga or Spanish squads. A 83+84 for a 89 rated is a gift. I am an elevator player between div3 and div2, and I also use this guy as a ST with Joao Felix POTM as a CAM, Deulofeu at LW and Robben as RW.
If you see his stats, you will expect something very nice. Well, he is. His PACE (with hunter or even engine) is pretty good, he can do some runs. His SHOOTING is amazing, he won´t miss, his 4*WF seems like 5 actually. His PASSING is also very good, if you play him as a CAM with engine or any quem style that increases his passing is allright, but his base stats are ok. His DRIBBLING, i´m not a dribbler in game, but his 95 agility and 92 dribbling are OP, pretty good to turn around on the box and score. His DEFENDING is ok, he will go to tackle those guys bc his high in Def.WR. His PHYSICAL is BULLSHIT, as simple as that.
This guy is actually a vey fun card to use, but I think Joao Felix POTM is better. If you use him, he will score bangers and make your game more fluid.
Pace – he can make runs.
Shooting- he won´t miss and can his WF seems like a 5*.
Dribbling – nasty Aspas
Passing – way good for a ST, can improve with engine.
Face – he looks way similar to real life.

I was saving up to finally get Griezmann RTTF when a friend pointed out to me that this rather cheap SBC was available. He immediately slid into my team replacing gold Griezmann. He grabbed me a hattrick in his very first match and I just knew he was the man for me. Because he's already pretty fast, all I did was slap a hawk on him (I personally always appreciate a little bit of jumping reach... you know for those moments when you gotta suck in your pride and spam crosses).

Anyway, comparing him directly with Griezmann RTTF would give you a good sense of this card's true value, sure Griezmann can (and would likely) improve, but this card comes at 1/4 the price and is an SBC... so there's the potential to get him for absolutely nothing. Unfortunately his high work rate and 'meh' stamina means he'd likely be spent if you're playing in extra time, so take good advantage of his pace, dribbling and shooting early on.
I was dead sure before getting this card that his average balance and poor strength would be my undoing, but I've been able to squeeze and fumble past most defenders... he probably fumbles past them more than any other attacker I've used in this game (okay, maybe not freeze Gaya...).
Conclusion: If you don't have a fat coin purse, you don't use advanced skill moves and you've got the space for la liga or Spanish forward then I 100% recommend you grab this card! You've got 30 days anyway so no rush.

My first review, I'm sorry for my bad English. This card is AWESOME! He play with POTM Felix, Messi and Mane. Aspas is very very good ST. His dribbling is amazing. His turns are so fast. If we come to his shooting, amazing. He won't miss in the penalty area. He is unstoppable card. And this SBC is very cheap, He's 89 rating very good rating. 65 goals in 35 matches, All matches are play in rivals. I play in division 4. You should make this card. He is very good striker, he is very good XI and sub player.

I completed this SBC as soon as it came out, since I use a LaLiga themed squad. I expected him to be my striker... until Suárez Moments came around. Aspas has become my perfect CAM (RAM, actually). Once you apply either Hunter or Engine (I've used him with both styles), he develops a more than decent pace, which was one of my biggest concerns. Also, he has a nearly perfect finishing and he has a very effective shot from outside the box. Even though he is poorly rated when it comes to passing, he actually gives you the accuracy you can expect from a top tier attacking midfielder. I've also used him as a right winger, which I wouldn't such recommend, even though he outperformed my expectations. Great different non-meta card for LaLiga lovers and not too sweaty or flashy FIFA players. Great performance in my team, even better when he was a free signing for us.
Big time finishing. Lethal both in and outside of the box.
Great pace when Hunter/Engine are applied.

Good passing in counter attacking situations,
3 Star skill moves are not the best for a CAM.
Kind of low stamina, not a problem when having "supersubs".
Not the strongest nor the most intelligent player when defending.
Aspas. Oh, Aspas. Now when you read the title at first you say, this guy is deluded, what is he on calling Aspas the King, He must support Liverpool. But I'm quite offended especially to be called a Liverpool fan. Aspas is probably one of if not the best strikers I've used in this game so far. He has his pros and cons but his pros overpower his cons by miles. Firstly that Shooting. Now I use him with a hunter just cause I'm a sucker for pace. With ten chem this beast has 94 overall shooting! Without the chemistry style, he is rocking a sublime 91 shooting on full chemistry. However, id recommend the Hunter because that 99 finishing is out of this world. Got a freekick. If you have Aspas the referee might as well give you an automatic goal. Because this king will score no matter what and make your opponent's nick pope look like he's Kepa. Top Bins every time.
Now pace, with full chem + a hunter you're using Aspas on a jawdropping 96 pace. No one can keep up. Absolutely no one can catch up (unless the opponent has Maguire in defense). With 93 acceleration and 99 sprint speed, he's a Lamborghini Aventador on the pitch.
Now you might say, oh great but he has 3* skill moves. To that I say. HAVE YOU SEEN HIS DRIBBLING MATE. While his balance is a little flimsy. If that bothers you apply a finisher, while yes he loses some pace. He has the balance of a house. However, the balance did not bother me too much in-game personally. All his other dribbling stats are perfect and he feels wonderful on the ball an absolute dream.
Does not hurt for him to also have a beautiful 4* weak foot which honestly feels like 5 in-game but that's just my personal opinion.
As usual his physical is a point of issue his stamina isn't the greatest and he has the strength of a toddler. However, with the dribbling and pace, he has you don't have to worry about defenders getting even an inch close to him.

I was very reluctant to do his SBC. I was using his base card and thought that POTM wouldn't make that much of a difference because face values don't always show everything. I was rocking base Iago Aspas and base Benzema in my La Liga squad. After doing the SBC, I switched formation and decided to use 4-3-3 (2) where I use him. Boy, does he deliver! I have used him only in WL and he smashes my opponents. He's calm, composed, and reliable in one-on-one situation. His curlers are simply great to watch! He curls in from everywhere! One-two passes are excellent with him and sometimes his passes rip through the defence like one of those from Salah and KDB. No, I'm not joking. This guy is a gem. Even his base card is a gem for an 84.

- 4*wf is more like 4.5*wf.
- Stamina feels low sometimes. Especially in highly intensive matches. Must keep an eye there while using him.
I had been using Werner as a striker for a bit, but he grew stale and flat out boring to use. So I took a gamble on this Iago Aspas card and I am far from disappointed. I used him in a 4-2-3-1 at striker with a Hunter. Hunter has to be the best chemistry style for him. Ignore anyone suggesting to use an Engine, the balance upgrade just isn't worth it. Lightning pace and a class finisher. You notice his positioning and finishing in game, he rarely misses the chances he gets. Especially in a FIFA where pace matters, his 99 sprint speed with a Hunter puts him above other strikers in LaLiga. I'm usually not a fan of players with a backwards balance of Sprint Speed and Acceleration, but you don't notice it here.
-PACE: 99 Sprint speed and 93 Acceleration with a Hunter.
-FINISHING: 94 Positioning and 99 Finishing is impeccable. 88 Shot Power does the job
-COMPOSURE: 90 Composure, never misses a good chance
-DRIBBLING: Very good at basic dribbling, though 3 star skills can hold him back
3 STAR SKILLS: Can hold him back if you're much of a skiller. Though this wasn't the biggest issue for me personally
STAMINA: Can last a whole game at a push, a supersub ST may be needed.
I got his POTM and play him in a 4411 at cf behind 85 wright. He does really well for me with his passing and the runs he makes going forward. I have scored almost every finesse shot I've taken with him, the only downside with his shooting is that for me he would shoot straight at the keeper 99% of the time if I didn't finesse or do a low-driven shot. I took 8 shots in one game with no goals when I didn't do finesse shots, then with finesse shots I scored two from the edge of the box and one with his right foot too.
