I'm a division 1 rivals en gold 1 Fut Champs player and this Friday i went 7-7 with CR7 as my main man, never played this bad in Fut Champs.
Because of that 7-7 in Fut Champs, i decided to chance my squad and buy a new main striker, my choice was Bergwijn. I can tell you by now, this was the best choice of my Fifa life.
What can i say, this guy can do it all.
Starting with his pace, he's lightning fast, defenders won't catch him when he's on the run.
His shooting is so good, every chance he get, will he convert in to a goal. His finishing is very good, and in combination with his 93 shot power, is it a very deadly combination.
Probably the main reason why people won't buy him is probably because of his 'stocky' body type. I can tell you that you won't notice that. His dribbling is very good and with a finisher chem style you will get 99 agility.
His physicality is very good as well, that strength on this card is outstanding. No defender had the chance to get him off the ball.
This Bergwijn did it on his own. after 7-7 on Fut Champs he carried me to gold 1.
Without bergwijn 7-7, with Bergwijn 13-3, stats say enough.
I highly recommend this card, you won't regret it.
Pace Pace and Pace, so fast that no defender can catch.
Deadly in front of goal, scored every chance he had. And every chance he got, he created it by himself.
Long shots and shot power.
Dribbling, quick dribbling, very agile with the ball and no problems with his 'stocky' body type. His dribbling is so good.
Strength, in Fut Champs you will play in 30 matches probably 30 matches against Varane, Boateng or Gomez, and i can tell you, they can't get him off the ball because his strength is even better than them.
Im a div 1 player with 2100+ skill points, luckily enough I packed him in my second 81+ player pick and he goes straight into my team. Mbe marcus rashford witth over 500 games had to be sold :( was steve good enough tho? He was played as a rm in a 442(2), ram in a 4231 and lm in a 352. I had a hunter on him becuase I think in the wing positions I want maximum pace but an alternative chem style would be a finisher to boost his agility.
As a rm/ram he was very good. As a lm in a 352 hes also very good but he lacks defensive stats. His strength does help with his defending tho. 45 degree fake shot boosts and bridges are very good with him as hes quick and very strong. Power shots across goal and near post are very effective becuase of his high shot power. I didnt take finesse shots with him much but sometimes his finesses felt extremly powerful but overall finesse shots felt inconsistant with him because he doesnt have the trait. I had no issues with his passing at all. I think his dribbling is quite average for a 1m winger, maybe becuase of his body type. Hes only 5'10 so he wouldnt feel like a lukaku but he also wouldnt feel like a messi with the quick turns. I might try a finisher on him becuase of this. Mbappe neymar are both better dribblers than him. His strength is outstanding you can really feel his 94 strength, abit like a adama traore he can out strenth fullbacks but most higher end cbs, fullbacks like walker and klaiber would beat him in a shoulder to shouder as they are taller than him. Holding L2/LT with him is very effective. His stamina is fine as a rm in a 4 back but as a lm in a 532 with defensive responsibilities I personally like to sub someone after the 70ish min for the extra pace from the fresh legs. Personally I like my players with 5* skills as it allows me to do scoops and elastico but it isnt really the end of the world when you only have 4*. His 4* wf feels like a 4* wf nothing more nothing less. Most of the time in the right positions he will score with his wf.
Overall, for his price I dont think hes worth it. Hes more like a 700k card imo. I think if you have rashford stick with him or go for his informs. Ive only had gold rashford idk how his other cards feel like. If I had the coins I wouldnt buy him I was jus lucky to pack him tho. I have mbappe neymar as the 2 STs in a 442 and mbappe and mid best as STs and neymar cam in a 352 and he wouldnt replace any of them.
pace and strength
causes bs cus hes strong
versatile
cool exclusive celebration
powerful shots
dribbling???
defending?
no 5* skills?
no finesse shot trait?
low key no cons but somethings jus could be better for his price
Im a div 2 player and i packed bergwjin out of the future star party bag I was and am still so happy, I use him at St paired next to Kenny Dalglish and they both get the job done.He is so good and has scored 40 goals in 21 games and finishes everything he bodies defenders such as varane off the ball because he has 94 strength and is a key player in my team.
Shooting- he scores so much and is a great striker.
Strength- his 94 strength is so amazing and he breezes through players.
Dribbling- his dribbling paired with his strength makes him unstoppable.
He's amazing, and even with a stocky body type, he shields the ball exceptionally and dribbles very smoothly. I used a finisher, as the agility should be boosted because of his body type, and he has good pace that doesn't need to be boosted. He finishes everything, and really helped me scrape Gold 3 during a terrible weekend league with horrible gameplay. I played him in a 4-4-2 with him and Rashford up top, and both compliment each other really well! As well as this, he makes such aggressive and intelligent runs that it is so easy to play through balls to him. At his current price of 850k, this card is a must!
