First of all I got to say that this guy is an absolute beast. He is literally a bully on the pitch. Im a Div 2-3 player and I packed this guy not thinking much but I got that link to Bruno G and was in look for a CB so instead of selling I gave him a shot. He is nothing short of spectacular at his 88. And given the fact he has potential to go up 2 overalls just makes me even happier. Lets start off with his tackles. This guy (with a shadow) gets the ball off of anyone doesn't matter who. Its like he throws himself at the player and causes an explosion in the middle of the pitch. Gets the ball off the player and puts the player on his a**. He's a literal brute. One of the best defending CB's ive played with. Next his passing. This guy can absolutely send bombs down the pitch that 88 long passing feels like upwards of 95, his short passing is quality as well. Finally, the absolute threat this man is in the box on corners. Might as well hide your whole family because when Marcelo's in the area he's sending the ball through the net with his head. That Power Header and 99 Heading Accuracy is something to fear especially at 6'3. I guess really the only downfall would be tracking players down. Although he's got 75 pace with a shadow, I feel confident on a 1on1. The only thing I noticed is that if the player is already ahead and he's rapid it's a bit hard for him to get back. But if you play well you shouldn't have that issue as your fullbacks can take care of it. It's only happened once and I blame myself for it as it was a bad play. But he can't bail you out like Varane. Overall, an absolute beast and a fun card for his price makes me smile every time he throws someone to the ground with his strength.
I had a mix of a Serie A and Ligue 1 team, and the easiest way to link it was by getting this guy and Bruno Peres. And, honestly, it was the best decision I've made. He is a tank. He doesn't lose headers and is so fast in game. He also never fails with his tackles. His weak foot isn't a problem, so he has everything you want in a centerback. Plus, he has earnt his upgrade but not got it yet.

He was playing in my squad in CB in formation : 4-2-3-1 or 3-4-1-2 but more often 4-2-3-1. he's great CB i use him instead Varane and i'm happy for this change :D I waiting for upgrade for 90 and i think this player will be god on CB :D
The best cb in the ligue 1 by far, and he is under 100K! He is absolutely amazing. I got him in the 84+ player pick and i was so happy as he is my first pack pulled promo card that can actually fit my team. He is a tall giant beast with 10 undiscovered muscles and a third leg for standing tackles, his pace isn't even an issue it actually feels fine. He will get a +2 very soon as lyon already got the clean sheet. Mbabu took like 6 days to get the upgrade so i assume the same for marcelo. I don't have much to say except he's insane. I love him and im sure you'd love him too. If you have bruno guimaraes its also an easy link, same with marquinhos's fut freeze.
he is a good defender in the aspect of defending (tackling, positioning, headers, auto block) but he lacks a bit of pace at this stage of the game
you have to use him in a certain way to make him feel like a world class defender (dont select him until your opponent comes in the box instead use your more pacey cb instead like walker klaiber dalot etc. or when you 100% need it like a 1v1)
at corners he is a cheat code winning headers from ramos, van dijk and once even from mid gullit!
I packed him ingociable so I had to try him out. He's kinda slow, but not too slow, he is usable cause his positioning is pretty good so the speed is not a problem, just dont miss the tackle. His heading is really awesome, specially in corners, and so do his physical. If he gets an upgrade in his pace he will be even better.
So i bought him for 105k, a fair price and after i played 30 matches with him in the Div Rivals, and men trust in me, he is a BEAST, your tacles are fantastic and your heading accuracy it is unbealivable. I score 15 goals in 30 matches and he is a CB, just amazing. He´s a good pace for his position and a good height, he can duel against class players like Neymar and Mbappe, it is logical that sometimes he will fail but this happens to everyone. I would use him with Marquinhos( Honorable Mention) and with Bruno Guimarães future stars(if you done the sbc). So yes that it´s my rewiew.
