I bought him to replace Mendy in my fut champs team and all I can say is... finally a good LB I can use for cheap instead of mendy! Plus, it has a green link to my cucurella so it fits perfectly in my team! I hope he gets upgraded to 89, that would be insane.
When I started FUT this year i used Berchiche in the Spanish I built and I used all the way up until I packed Mendy in 75+. I actually hurt to take him out of the team and join one half of the dark side. I started experimenting with left backs for most of the year after I started to dislike Mendy. Moments Kurzawa was good and Roberto Carlos was great but neither were ever in their Position. Then What If came out and in Rewards I packed What If Kante in one pack and then Yuri in the next. I sold Kante and despite being tradeable Yuri went in at left back. Honestly this card is Brilliant and since he got his upgrade last night he's been nothing short of Brilliant.
Quick as anything
For a left back whos on stay back, his shootings class
Honestly best centre back I've used in a long time. Packed him out of my what if guaranteed and so thankful as he was the only one who would fit my team (and be an upgrade). I am very happy. His pace is great with an anchor and he's literally like elastic the way he can reach in and win back any ball. A very solid card all round as well, literally Gullit gang with a gladiator. Tried him at LB, CB and CDM but definitely a CB for me. Obviously not the tallest but paired with another tall pacey CB he seems really comfortable. Great passing range with both feet, makes great blocks and wins every slide tackle. Smooth on the ball and always great positionally.

Hi guys! I love to hybrid teams so when this new Yuri card came out I was very excited about the perfect link to Capa. I was also lucky enough to pack him from the 83 x25 pack so he went straight into my team.
I played him as a stay back LB with a Shadow Chemistry Style, next to TOTY Ramos and Freeze Jesús Navas on a 4-4-2(2).
There are many things that look fine about his card but just aren't, at least to my eyes. I am very used to be able to dribble with my fullbacks and move to ball up to my LM and RM. He just isn't the type of player that will be able to dribble past the enemy attacking line. He feels way stockier ingame than the likes of Acuña, RTTF Davies and even regular gold Mendy.
The biggest letdown for me has been the passing, though. Many of us like to put long through balls to our LM's when doing a counter attack. Well he just misses more than 50% of them and never seems to be able to do that amazing pass that will let your attacking winger on a one-on-one situation.
On the other hand, he does posses pretty good defensive capabilities and most time looks in position to incercept balls. Nothing crazy and nothing better than Mendy, unfortunately.
His stamina is good and his duty will last you for the whole game as a stay back LB.
He feels quick on long runs when chasing opponents but nothing spectacular too.
We'll have to wait for his potential upgrade to see how this card ends up feeling but for now he looks to me like a fill card for chemistry reasons.
I was watching FUT crunch the other day and he inspired me to give this beast a go in cb, and to say the least I was definitely not disappointed, I had Boateng moments in my team before him and he was way too clunky and know I know why people use fullbacks at cb, he is so fast long with being able to turn quicker than most center backs and is still surprisingly has to strength to push players off the ball. with him coming in at around 120k right now id definitely go pick him up especially because he is getting upgraded as well!

maybe height but that doesn't make a difference for me personally
He is one of the best LB I have ever played, when he gets an upgrade, I think his stats are looking like Cole Prime, in 5-2-1-2 with his high offensive work rate he is so good.
