I can't even imagine what he would be like post upgrade cause lets face it: Frankfurt will score 6. Anyway do yourself a favour and pick him up before his price flies.

TOTY Mbappe (4.5 million coins) and 94 Prime Cantona (4 million coins). Why am I starting off by mentioning these two players? Because they are the only two players in all of FIFA 21 that can match Jovic's base attributes. And at the time of this writing, he hasn't received his upgrade yet, although, he has officially qualified. Jovic's cost? 95,000 coins. And don't forget, Jovic has a 5* weak foot and it is legit! When I first got Jovic, I paired him with TOTY Lewandowski. I consistently noticed that Jovic gave me more than Lewy. Is TOTY Lewandowski a great player? Absolutely, he's a beast. Is he worth 1.4 million coins more than Jovic? In my opinion, no. The only thing I was slightly nervous about Jovic was his M/M work rates and I can tell you they were not a problem in the least. In terms of which chemistry card to use, I would recommend engine or hawk. With engine, obviously you get an agility boost and a bit of pace and the passing. With engine, I found Jovic to still be a very big heading threat. If your play style requires a bit more strength and a bit more shooting, go with hawk. Last things before I break down the attributes, Jovic is one player where I did not find his shooting attributes to be accurate in game. They're better!
Pace:
90 acceleration and 92 sprint speed. With engine, I found his pace to be pretty good. Can you give him the ball and just sprint past everyone, no. But if you get on a breakaway with him, his pace is good enough to get away. If the defender catches him, don't worry his 86 strength will hold them off.
Shooting:
89 positioning, 92 finishing, 89 shot power, 81 long shots, 90 volleys and 72 penalties. As I teased above, I've found these attributes are a lie. His shooting is so much better than his attributes say. Positioning wise, he makes very intelligent runs and in the box he is very good at finding those little pockets of space to receive the ball. With his shooting ability, high composure, shot power and 5* weak foot, he only needs the smallest of windows to get his shot off and 9.5/10 it's going in. His finishing feels as good as other players I've used with higher finishing ratings. I felt Jovic's finishing was 100% on par with TOTY Lewandowski. Neither miss. Jovic's shot power does not feel like 89. Feels like 95+. I've also found both feet have the same zing behind them. His long shots are very good. His volleys are phenomenal. He gets so much power behind his volleys that if you do it right, the GK isn't saving it.
Passing:
85 vision, 87 short pass, 75 long pass and 96 curve. He can easily make any pass you need him to. I found his passing to be very consistent. When he would drop deep to receive a pass, he did an excellent job bypassing defenders with his passing.
Dribbling:
Is he Mbappe on the ball? No. Is he clunky on the ball? No. This might sound off, but on those two spectrums, I found Jovic to be closer to Mbappe than closer to clunky. I found him to be quite smooth on the ball. As I said, with engine, his attributes are quite good. 90 agility, 96 balance, 88 reactions, 89 ball control, 98 dribbling and 87 composure. These attributes combined with his strength made it very difficult for defenders to get their hands on them or get the ball off of him.
Defending:
Don't let the super low attributes fool you, if he puts a tackle in, odds are he took the ball.
Physical:
82 jumping, 84 stamina, 86 strength and 70 aggression. At 6' tall, combined with 93 heading accuracy, he is a very big threat in the air. I also noticed that he'll dive for a header to get ahead of the defender. His stamina will make him last the entire match no problem unless you're the type that abuses skill moves non-stop. His strength is awesome. I will say I didn't agree with his aggression rating. Feels higher in game.
Extremely complete striker. I think that his listed attributes scare some away, but as I've said, his in game performance is way above what his attributes say. Mind you, this review is being written before he gets his upgrade! If he was in the Premier League, I guarantee he would be around 1 million coins. What is my basis for that? Rulebreakers Harry Kane. He currently sits at a million coins on xbox. He only has 3* skills and 4* weak foot. My experience says Jovic is the better player. One final thing, look around for other strikers that have 4* skills and 5* weak foot and notice their prices. As a reminder, Jovic is only 95,000. Dumb! If you want a complete striker, buy him and enjoy.

I played Jovic for 1 Game in Division 1 (2100 SkillPoints) he made 5 Goals. He was very fast and his weak foot was very good. His shooting was very good too but sometimes it could be better. Physicality was good. His passing was not the best but okay. His dribbling was good but sometimes he can feel clunky.
When I saw Jovic got a skill upgrade, I wanted to test him as ST together with Silva POTM. In the first games they were a deadly attacking duo and I had a lot of fun playing both of them. But in the end I saw that they are not strong enough to face the best defenders in the game. Allthough Jovic scored with almost every shot, he didn´t feel that good away of his shooting. Still, it was fun to try him and I will keep him because I think he will rise in rating and price too. I hope he will be even better then.

This card is just brilliant. HIs weak foot is amazing and he is so deadly. Personally, I used an engine chemistry style on him to boost the passing and agility ... And he was phenomenal! You can take a shot from anywhere inside of the box or even outside, and it will go in. On paper he has 89 shot power, but ingame it feels like 99. I'd honestly compare this guy to gold Cr7. He is quite fast, a deadly finisher and a decent dribbler. Hie heading is also amazing. Don't sleep on this card. 130k for a card that will most likely get upgraded is a real steal and he wont disappoint. He is also a very physically strong player.
The stats are much better than it says he isnt the fastest but he feels like 90pace but the best ist his shooting and his positioning he stays everytime right and with his 5* wf are crazy
Last year I used his summer heat because I was bored and wanted to have a little fun while waiting for FIFA 21 but he turned out to be a beast I enjoyed using him and was the best when Ea released this card i knew I had to get him he fit into my team and boy left foot right foot it doesn't matter because it's going in he may turn like a Panasonic fridge but he his pace and dribbling are insane and to end it off with his lovely finishing highly recommended and he has a chance to get upgraded grab him if you wanna have fun without using meta players
Ive had Jovic what if for a long time now. Hes my favourite Player irl so i was super happy with him getting a rather playable card in fut. Ive played him with engine all time but i might try him out with hunter. For me he playes in a stricker duo with Messi gold in a 4222. Messi plays on false 9 instruction, as the right part, and jovic on get in behind, as the left one.. They link up perfectly. Both of my cams are on free roam so they sometimes cut inside. You gotta try it, its much fun.
Back to the review. His finishing has been good so far but now, after the upgrade its been very very good. Hes usually not missing a shot. His shot power is absolutely unreal. It feels like 97 shot power. His knowledge of attacking runs is very good. He usually finds the right gap between defenders but can even drop back and pass well if necessary. Hes surprisingly fast. Hes been as fast as Ronaldo flashback wothout the upgrade.
The main reason why people look at these reviews is probably to see how his dribbling/agility is. For me its been very good due to the engine chem style im using on him. Obviously, hes not as agyle as Messi, Dybala flashback or gomez what if, but still, for the finishing end of my attacking build up, hes playing decently. I would recommend him, especially with the price of only 100k. Hes way too cheap honestly.

This guy has become the best player in my fun team this Weekend League. At first I thought he was a bit chunky and hard to move, but if you play him a bit you'll get how you have to play him. I don't know why he doesn't cost more, because this guy is a beast.
His shooting is insane and he's scoring from every positions, for me espacially into the near post from sharp angels.
His physicality is not meta at all, but opponents usually don't expect you to power through their defense.
L3 R3 Headers are OP with him I don't even know why but his first touches are insane, both in the air and on the ground.
5* Weakfoot is important and he uses that perfectly in front of the goal.
You have to score from inside the box with him, because long shots don't usually go in.
I sub him off often, because it feels like from the 75' minute his stamina is through.
