Caputo has been infamous within the FIFA community in recent months, as people were begging for him to get a TOTY; and here we EA have answered our prayers!
Looking at the card stats many would say he's a bit underwhelming, and other Serie A strikers compare and even outdo him on many fronts. But, here is the overview of my limited time with this card. (Note, I am a div 5 player; I know! Shocking!)
For starters, the card is incredibly easy to get a hold of, play for a couple of hours or afk the matches and you will have him in no time at all.
I truly believe that Sassuolo will score the needed goals for the upgrade to take place, but already it's a fine card.
I went for a Hunter on the card itself, as he needs the pace without the upgrade.
Caputo has an amazing body type (high and lean) which makes him very agile and glides around in attack.
His dribbling feels good. Nothing more, nothing less. 3* skill moves were a big put off for me but as a target man in a 442/4222 he works fine. Better off the ball than on the ball.
Shooting is a weird one, he has times were he feels Immobile and others like using a gold Muriel. I feel the needed cem style for this card is a hunter, as his shot power is heavily lacking. But combined with the finesse shot trait he works very well.
He is rather strong, he manages to keep defenders off the ball; but his defence makes him not being able to rewin it if he loses it.
Amazing jumping and amazing headers. Feels even better than Lautaro Martinez's
The biggest surprise was his passing, as he feels good to play through balls with (I play flashback Dybala as my second striker) But the long passing isn't the greatest I've seen
This man's work rates for a striker are just amazing. The High Low makes him always lay high and always looking to break through the lines.
Conclusion:
Caputo works great as a target man in a 2 striker formation, but I struggled with him performing in a 4231 for some reason. Linking up with Dybala he makes a great partnership, and two free-roaming cam's in a 4222 work well. Ideally, you want a hunter on the card, for now, to make him faster, but if he gets a 2+ upgrade I would consider giving him an engine.
He might not have the finishing of Immobile, nor the agility of freeze Martinez. But he is a cult legend and you get an amazing card for the best possible price. The link to Tonali and El Shaarawy is simply mouthwatering.
- get. this. card.
Good body type and movement around the box
Perfect forward runs and work rates (this makes his lack of stamina rather obsolete)
Good shooting, but needs a boost with a hunter (before the upgrade)
Good physically and on crosses, great headers and jumping
Decent through balls, but please don't try any Pirlo passes
*good* dribbling, better off the ball than on the ball.
Well well well. This is my first ever FUTBIN review so please go easy on this. I am a Div 6/5 player who finishes Silver 1 / Gold 3 so bare that in mind
My brother had done the objective and told me he sucked, but I decided that he'd fit into my team and would be perfect in a 41212 (2) formation with Mbappe and Rush Prime in attack.
I have used many strikers including the likes of Werner, Auba, Kane, Benzema, Alessandrini Robben and Ronaldo flashbacks, etc... I can safely say that Caputo is the BEST finesse finisher I've used - better than Litmanen and even TOTY Messi. I can compare him to Suarez 91 and the finesse he has on his shots and they're quite similar. As for the shot power, he is like Vieri or even Ronaldo. He scores from ever angle, even ones i'd never thought i'd score.
He's also very fast when he wants to be and always gets in position, what a beast. His dribbling also contributes to him getting places.
I only saw 1 other review on him and although it was insightfull, I didn't think it did him justice.
Thanks EA, this is a big W from you.
Everyone stay safe and play for fun
Finishing (90) would honestly finish of the GTA building that is being built on his own and more
Positioning (93) Best positioning I've ever seen
Good passing
Quite strong
Finesse shots will ALWAYS find the back of the net
So i did this objective card to link up with my flashback El Shawarry. In game i play the 5-2-1-2 with Caputo and Shawarry both at striker. Im a casual player i div 4. I have played 15 games with him and have scored 26 goals with him. He does have 3 star sm but if you have someone with 5 star sm like El Shawarry, then its fine. If you complete this card i would highly recommend using a hunter on him. In game he is so quick and so agile and he shoots like a rocket. The only problem with him is his passing. Sometimes his passes will be either too short or too long. But that's why i recommend playing someone with good passing alongside him. Thanks for Reading.
im gonna keep this short. this guy is probably my favorite st in the game so far and ive used players like dybala moments, el sharaawy. he has everything for a st apart from 3 star skills. his passing feels decent. shooting is amazing, always wins headers. pace is amazing. objective was easy to do.
He fits perfectly in my team, and the objective requirements for this card are way to easy. He is easily one of the best strikers I have used in this game. He will get a +2 upgrade which will make him even MORE prolific. On the pitch, he is an absolute beast. One of the unexpected advantages of this card is that he is an aerial threat and has scored tons of corners for me. He is a very prolific finisher and when he has the shoots HE DON'T MISSSSSSSS!!!!!!
Less requirements
Fast
Aerial threat
Will get +2 upgrade
HE DON'T MISSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!
Bad vision(doesn't give the right passes sometimes)
He doesn't have that breakaway pace like Mbappe or Robben, but once he gets going, his build makes him hard to stop.
Shooting: 9.5/10
Across goal, near post, finesse, volley, you name it. It's going to end up in the net. Long shots aren't as consistent, but not many people can score them. In the box, lethal.
Passing: 7.5/10
One-two passes are the only thing he can do consistently. Don't even try switching the play with him.
Dribbling: 8.0/10
Its good except for the first touch which is a bit inconsistent. Otherwise is quite good. Dont use if you like using agile dribbling with your ST.
Defending: N/A
Physical: 9.5/10
Excellent in the air. Great hold up play. Brilliant at holding off fast centre backs when running in behind.
Overall: 9.0/10
If you can link him in to a team, then this card is really worth the grind. Even as a super sub, he is a game changer. And he will get an upgrade to an 89.
NGL, he isn't the greatest. I don't think this card is amazing but hes really easy to get, in 10 games (which is at max 3 hours) you can get this card easily. Hes good for new players but he isn't replacing anyone in my team. Meh just meh.
Dribbling, finishing, positioning, some passes are inconsistent but some are decent, strength, jumping and heading accuracy, he isn't the fastest, 4* wf, lean body type.
3* sm, not very fun, long shots, just generally not the greatest
He played really well for me in fut champs and he played st in a 4231. I had him on get in behind tactics so he kept on going for runs. He was really fast with a hunter but the 85 strength is a lie it felt like 75. His passing was good for me because I could pass to el shaarway on a through ball and it went through most of the time. all of my games were in champs except for two and they were in Div 4 rivals so it was not too easy not too hard. I recommend getting him because he dropped FB ronaldo for me and chem style hunter
Caputo Inform was a fraud in the beginning of the game, and now his what if is a bigger fraud! This card off of his face stats look decent, but he's just not good enough in the higher divisions. 4* skills is a really a must, and 3* Skills aren't gonna cut it. His runs are decent because of his attack positioning and High/Low, but apart from that, there's just nothing really good about him. His dribbling and passing aren't good, and he gets tired by the 70th minute. His shooting really let me down and he would miss a lot of high percentage cross goal strikes. Overall, this card will be a fun card in lower divisions where people don't play 5 back drop back because this card is just the definition of send on run through ball. Even if he gets the +2, his dribbling will still be below 90, he'll still have the 3* SM, and his passing stamina will still be bad.
