Ok so my luck is pretty cracked ngl I have about an average team due to me starting a couple of months ago due to me quick selling my team as a joke because I was gonna get a ps5 but due to them not being in stock a week later I started with 1k coins after some sniping I managed to get to 25k and bought the Newcastle squad and did my weekend league with it then from my weekend league rewards I got decent stuff and bought a proper team and then did icon swaps and guess who I got from my 85+ x5 pack: RONALDO (TOTY) I was so happy as I'm a massive fan of his and instantly built a team around him and then 2 days ago I opened my what if pack and got this guy and fit him in my team on 8 chem player RWB in game in the 5-3-2 formation (I know that you're gonna call me a sweat for playing it but I've played that formation since the start of fifa 20 and love it as I have 1 regista, 1 ball winning cm and 1 CDM (a regista is a midfielder that's job is to get on the ball so doesn't have to contribute much defensively EG: KDB rn and Muller) so now let's get into the review here's the team I played him in (this is in game)
Firstly his pace is mad I used a shadow on him and it honestly felt like he got that pace boost and he was catching up with Mbappe, Neymar ect and also as I play my wing backs very attacking when I needed he made some incredible runs to get in and score goals and that leads me onto his shooting it's amazing it feels like it's 80+ and his vollies are INSANE. Next passing his short passing is decent long passing is good enough and his crossing for Ronaldo is incredible. Defending ngl he didn't really have to do that much as he was often up the pitch but when he did he rarely got dribbled past. Strength: His aggression feels SOOOOOOO good and it just felt like he wanted the ball more than anyone else. Dribbling he has quite a nice body type to shield the ball with and he also feels quite agile.
In conclusion I would 100% recommend this card if you need a prem or portugal RB.
Pretty much everything
He's a RB so unless you have your full-backs on get forward or need a really solid full back you shouldn't buy him as it's a waste to have him just staying back all the time.
I use to own TOTY Trent and I can say that this Ricardo Pereira card is miles better than him, maybe not attacking but his attacking is still really good. I was lucky enough to pack this card from the guaranteed What If player and I instantly put him in my team.
Pace
He has caught up to Mbappe and Neymar many times to win the ball and he can run all game
Shooting
He has scored a few goals from where he has shot across the goal and his shooting is actually quite good, he won't score any flashy goals but he will score when needed
Passing
His passing is perfect and has not made a mistake for me yet
Dribbling
Don't really need it for a rb
Defending
He always wins tackles and he will always win the ball when he is sliding or standing up. He always gets the ball off of the likes of Neymar, Ronaldo and Cruyff
Physical
He is quite strong and he is strong enough to play rb
Pace
Defending
Price - really good priced for the player he is
Links - he is quite hard to link but if you can get him in your team
i got this guy in what if pack and decided to change Laimer, Khedira and Boateng to EPL (my team https://www.futbin.com/21/squad/6389459)
I must say right away that Laimer and Pereira are as similar as possible, only Konrad is a little stronger, and Ricardo is a little more agile.
So the main comparison will be with Walker, whom I played with until December and for which I have a review https://www.futbin.com/21/review/484/Kyle%20Walker/player
And Walker and Pereira I used with shadow
Pace 10/10
I will give the numbers to Ricardo, but in this case, both have 10
Excellent speed and honest 99 (well, Pereira has 98 sprint speed, but the difference from 99 is hardly noticeable)
Shooting - / 10
No idea I'm playing with stay back
Passing 8/10
Regular passes for a good right-back
Walker loses a lot here, he sometimes likes to pass to touch or to an opponent
Dribbling 8/10
Again, not bad, quite agile, controllable enough, no weaknesses, but rather weak for 532
Walker is a little wooden
Defining 8.5 / 10
Here again equality, both have good defense, the only one is Pereira better in marking, and Walker is in heading.
Physics 6.5 / 10
It seems to be there, but apart from the stamina there is nothing special
Walker is better here in terms of stats, body type and feeling in the game
Although the difference in strength is 7, it seems much more
Overall I liked Pereira and I can recommend it if you play 4 defenders (like me), mostly back and you don't care about strength
For a 5-defender game you might want to consider Canselo, for power lovers there is Walker, and if you are rich as fuck and want it all, then there is James or 94 Trent.
