This year i was lucky and i packed the one and only N`golo Kante in the first pack of the Season 1 at the start of Fifa 21.
Now 5 Months, 5 million Coins and many untradeable players later i was looking for an upgrade.
It was either Kante (What IF) or Makelele Moments.
I decided to try out Makelele Moments and what should i say. The best decision this Fifa for me.
This Guy is insane!!!!!
He feels like the father of Kante.
He has an even bigger presence on the pitch.
The combination of Pace, recovery after tackles is uncompareable to any other player.
His bodytype and strenght allows him to bully every player off the Ball.
An the most important thing for me :
He wins every tackle. Not only wins it he dominates it.
After every tackle my team comes out with the ball, no weird block or alibi "momentum" tackle.
If i am in reach of the ball or the player he gets the ball no matter which angle or position he is in.
Because of his HIGH/LOW workrates and this years gameplay where you need to move the players in the midfield much more than last year he is
much better for me than when i tried him last year. Because he does stay in your half of the pitch he intercepts every counter attack right at the beginning.
His positioning is just perfect as CDM and he intercepts even more passes and through balls than Kante already does.
If he has the Ball his passing and movement on the Ball is perfect to start counter attacks or play on possession also.
Strong precise passes and through balls are another big pro for me. Kante passing was fine. His passing is superb.
If you like Kante then you will love this guy like you never loved before.
If i had to find any cons i would say his heading and shooting.
But Kante does also not have any of those stats which is no problem for me on the CDM position.

This review won't be long. If you need a CDM who plays like Kante but better... You won't regret using this beast. This guy is a hunter, he chases down the opponent and he doesn't stop until he get's the ball back. He bosses the midfield and you will think he has a teleportation ability because he is everywhere when you need him. Don't be deceived by the 81 passing because he has 93 short passing and 86 long passing. He is a full mini tank in your team. He defends, he creates and he doesn't get tired... Just... Don't shoot with him.

I think that the title describes this guy perfectly. He is absolutely mental. And as soon as i saw this guy's sbc and then saw this card i had to do him straight away. Honestly really good card and everything you would want in a cdm + perfect passing, insanely solid dribbling. And if your 5'9" L/H you're just perfect. Extremely good stamina and strength aswell. Played him CDM in a 4231 with firmino.

The number one question, who's better? him or kante? And the answer is kante.....at getting into position to make that initial takle and makele at everything else. I find kante is more agile and hunts down the ball better than most other cdm's in the game but doesn't always retain the ball after the tackle due to his low strength. Kante is also prone to errant passing which lead to loss of possession and counter attacks.
Makele also hunts down the ball really well just not quite as good as kante but his 88 strength and 91 aggression mean that when he makes a tackle if the ball rebounds he is on it. His passing also feals superior helping to build attacks.
Ive played kante as alone cdm but preferred using mctominay h2h as a lone cdm due to the need for high strength so as to win the takle first time.
I no longer use either. Makelele for me all day long.
I got relegated from div 3 all the way to div 5 recently due to the 5-3-2, FB at CB meta that I refuse to play and he has dragged me back up to div 3 in 15 games. What a beast. Hope this helps you decide.

i did the icon pack with the swaps . i got moments makelele and decided to use him
i use him in a 4312 as a cdm . he is a good player as a cdm (the most stay back as you can) cause he cant shoot
