What a card and quiet eazy to complete if your opp lets you score 12 finese....I also completed armstrong for the green link and they were both so cool to play.
I play with a mostly English squad and the Wayne Rooney sbc. I wanted to give Henry a shot because his base stats looked pretty decent for a LB, and I wanted one I could use on 6 chem at CB to get my SIF Shaw on full chem before sawpping places in game. I gotta say for a card that is pretty much free, I am really happy with it. Previously I was using an IF Tierney which I would still consider the best tradeable LB on full chem in the premier league. TIerney's pace wouldnt quite be where I wanted it on 6 even though I think his body type is perfect for a defender. I will second what another reviewer stated that his 1 on 1 ball winning when shoulder to shoulder is not the best. (This might be solved by boosting his strength a bit.) I have learned to get around this by trying to avoid situations where Henry is up against a quick player while they run. I found that timing your standing tackles and tackling early seems to always get me the ball, but it took some time to get used to so maybe if you are already used to a short LB/RB this will come natural. Overall I would say I probably prefer him over Tierney at this point. In a foot race he usually gets to the ball first, he is small so he can turn quickly to avoid high press, and his crossing is very good if you decide to take him on a run down the line. Also he seems to have that "Fifa" effect where he is short but his jumping is good so he ends up winning a lot of headers if you input a little earlier than usual to give him time to jump.
This Rico Henry is a very good left back, he is very fast and i loved his passing a lot. He has got a very great agillity. He also scored some goals when he arrived to the a scoring chance.asas
yo so i was just trying to have fun and that so i made a championship x bundesliga team just to try armstrong out so I just did all the championship guys and slapped em into my team and played some div rivals and damnnnn. The second bunch of championship players are sick and this guy is insane for a free card. firstly he links w rooney and armstrong so doing him is a no brainer secondly he is an english usable left back that is not ashley cole. I played about 10 games w him and i was impressed w him. He is insane for a free card. Mfs would have sold this guy for like minimum 75 k just cos of how good he is. His defending is solid, his dribbling is smooth and his shooting is awful those are pretty much the main stats. he is not a bad card but the only problem w him is the heading accuracy. Imagine have 99 jumping but no heading accuracy that actually took the piss he clears the ball w his head but then because his heading accuracy is shoo shit he plays an awful pass to the guy next to him sometimes. Its like he is good but he is a bit shaky here and there but pretty much a sick free card and his pace is just insane like just slap an anchor on him and yeah then he is a solid left back that links w rooney.
pace- mad pace honestly can catch up w most meta fast mfs.
defending- its nice more or less and not bad at all not incredible tho but still good and usable.
dribbling- very agile but if he had 4 star skills or sm he would be fucking insane.
passing/crossing- really good crossing and he got 6 assists from crosses.
?
heading accuracy- the main bad part of this card if only he had better heading he would be an aerial threat and also would head crosses away better
stamina is pretty shit tbh i play him in a 532 and he gets pretty tired by 70-75 mins :( .
I saw that card as a quite good soution for my formation, linking Rooney of course. Nominal stats are nearly perfect for a good LB so i've made the objectives. Tested this card in VL (I'm quite average player) and what i can say after 30 matches would be in pros and cons section. Used with anchor.
Very nice pace, elite level + body type
Perfect dribbling (agility/balance sense)
Good pasing (actually that kind of dribling allows u to choose perfect position for furher ball movement on field)
Stamina (90 minute player with stay "back on the defence")
Positioning was very bad for some times. Some moments i was outplayed with no chance to save anything with Henry on left wing.
His ability to take the ball in close quaters is very poor.
Weak, maybe because of his body type and model in game. Feels like sterling. Unnacceptable for my kind of defender. (in 5 def formation he must be better)
