I played Wanyama at both CDM and CB and found he was much better at CB. Although not the fastest his height, work rates and amazing defence and physical stats make him a quality CB. He doesnt really have the attacking stats to play any higher then CDM and actaully feels very similar to prime icon moments Hierro. 2* skill and 3* weak foot is another reason to play him in defence, it makes him too predicatble in midfeld and youll commonly find he gets caught in possession. Passing is good, just dont cross with him and despite being 6"1 with 74 balance and 71 agility he doesnt feel overly clunky on the ball.
