Ligue 1 was in dire need of a good RB; level 30 de sciglio was a great card, but it is gonna take something insane to get most people playing to level 30; and de sciglio is just not it. This sambia card dropped and immediately caught my eye, especially for a day one price of 120k. I needed a RB to strong link lees melou, who i wanted to put back in my team, and sambia fit the system perfectly. He can play CDM, CB, FULLBACK and WINGBACK, and I would recommend an ANCHOR style wherever you're playing him. I played him LWB for this review.
Pace - Sambia is rapid, often tracking runs and outpacing attackers.
Shooting - Sambia can take free kicks - taken 2, scored 1, the other hit the post. He got one chance for me inside the box, and scored emphatically.
Passing - Firm, accurate passing, put in a sensational cross for neymar to finish; you know the cross is good when neymar wins the header.
Dribbling - Sambia is a big lad, but he is quite agile and his 5* skills are a big plus. Even if he loses the ball while dribbling, he can win it back with his mad strength.
Defending - Whilst Sambia's defending stats are quite average, he rarely sponge tackles and is good for tracking runs.
Physical - Probably the highlight of the card. Combine 6 foot 1 with big body type and 95 strength with an anchor and you have an absolute monster.
Stamina - Lasts all game.
Free kicks - Took 2, scored one, other hit the post.
Links - A brilliant full back to link diatta and lees melou and other OP Ligue 1 players.
Nothing. What a brilliantly well rounded full back.
Yesterday I packed Sambia. I've been using Golowin Freeze since around Christmas and was always satisfied with him. But this card is another level comparing to Golowin. I left out James for the comparisons.
I used this player now for 16 games. 12 Rivals (DIV 1) and 4 WL Games playing him 4 games each on RB, CB, CDM, B2B. I also used Dest/Mbabu and Tavernier on Co-op or playing on friends accounts.
Positions: Probably best as a FB, CDM or CB. U can use him as a B2B despite his WRs. But in this case i would probably use Engine, but of course Sanches Inform or Cucurella 87 feel better on this position. Mostly played in 4-4-2 (2), 4-2-3-1 and 4-1-2-1-2 (2)
Chemical style: I was thinking between Anchor and Shadow, but eventually decided for Anchor to push his agressivity. I switched to Engine at B2B.
Pace: 92 Acceleration and 99 Sprint Speed is fair enough in this state of game.
Work rates: He has Med/Med. Comparing to Golowin the only thing where I would rank Golowin higher than him, whose positioning is better. But it doesn't feel like a game changer or that Sambia is always out of position at all. He just doesn't run the lines as maybe Dest, Tavernier and Mbabu do, if u use Full backs to join for the attacks, but it's good enough. And u can tap L1. I priortize FB defensively, so no problem for me at all.
Physis and Defending: In comparison with Golowin he lacks a bit of agressivity, where as the other lacks with strength. U can easily solve the problem with an Anchor. 91 stamina is enough for the whole game. Of course Mbabu and Dest are again above him in these criteria, but he can compete with Tavernier HL.
Dribbling: Despite his size, he doesn't feel extremly clunky on the ball. Of course he's not as agile as for example Dest. But it's good enough. But Dest cost almost 4 times his price. And 5* skills are always an advantage.
Shooting and Passing: I was suprised at his Free kicks and Headers. He is close to the Free kicks of Roberto Carlos and can undoubtedly replace him if needed. His long shots are decent, but overall he beats Mbabu, Golowin and Dest by far at shooting, Tavernier might be a bit better at this except for FK. Passing: Dest is another level of course, but I didn't have anything to complain. 4* WF helps him out with that. As I said I used him as a B2B with engine too. He can play it, but ofc he is better in defensive minded positions.
Links: Comparing to Tavernier, Mbabu or Dest, he brings more options to link, which is really good.
Conclusion:
For the prize of slightly over 100k, you will barely find a better RB, who is really versatile for Defense and CDM/B2B. For me for the prize it's a better value than Mbabu, Dest, who are outstanding cards. Probably I will give him a 9/10 and keep him.
I hope my English is understandable since it's not my first language.

Overall good basic stats at Dribbling, Defending, Physis, Shooting, Pace
Versatilty ingame
Not severe cons but if to choose:
78 Reaction and Aggression (2nd thing can be fixed my choosing Anchor)
I packed him from div rival rewards and i wanted to have some fun on the game so i tried him. He played CM next to Neves in a 4-4-2 formation and he's just everywhere. Great at defending with great passing and scoring isn't a problem for him. I used anchor but ill try gladiator next. If you need someone who can do everything... he is your man.
Hi guys, here is the sambia FB review. He is gullit gang. That's why I put it as a CM. It is very good. THIS GUY IS CRAZY. Is very good. He has 5 skills to have fun and he really dribbles very well. It is French, it has good links to make hybrids. He can score goals without a problem with his 75 finishing, he has a decent pass, he turns very well on pitch (92 agility), he defends very well, he can even function as a CB with his 6'1 '' height. Its only flaw is the medium / medium but if you put it CM / CDM / CAM I swear it will go very well for you.
Sambia is a beast in the Silver Lounge. So much so that I got rid of my favourite person IRL, Hector Bellerin, to fit this card into my squad.
I am not disappointed.
Some quick background information -
I'm playing him as a RM in a 3-5-2

Stats and my Ratings:
Pace - He's quick enough. I would boost the pace with a shadow if I was playing him as a RB, but for me he's fast enough. 4.1/5
Shooting - The stats are a lie. This card has outscored my Eusebio since its debut. His shot power is unstoppable and his finishing is top tier. Maybe it's the patch, maybe it's me, maybe it's the card. I don't know and I don't care. 5/5
Passing - Passing is the stat that matters most to me, and Sambia does not disappoint. Crisp, hard pass after pass. The passes don't get intercepted unless I really try to force it. Easily the best passer I've used this game. 5/5
Dribbling - I don't dribble if I don't have to. However, when I need to dribble I haven't been let down by this card. 5* skills are fun I guess, but I don't know any 5* skills outside of the elastico and sombrero flick. 4.5/5
Defending - He's not doing all that much defending at the RM role, so I can't say much other than his interceptions are as if I am always playing on constant pressure and team press. He's everywhere in my opponents half, intercepting their stupid Inshallah through balls. What more can you ask for from a card in EA Sport's FIFA Ultimate Team 21? Zero skill metas require zero skill defensive methods. 4.8/5
Physical - Great stamina. Aggression could be higher but I really don't know what aggression does so I don't care. 4.7/5
Other Factors - His height and body type make this card super versatile. I could see him being used as a CB, a Box-to-Box CM, or maybe a secondary CDM with a maestro. Medium/Medium is the best WR combination for any player in the midfield IMO, and that's a reason I love this card so much.
Overall - A great card for a super affordable price. I didn't do Klaiber or Tavernier since I like Bellerin so much, so Sambia is the best RB I've used this year. 4.9/5

Not a super exciting card since there's already so many good RBs
I'm Div 2/Gold 2 played bout 50 games with Sambia as a RB in a 4-1-2-1-2 and RCB in a 3-5-2.
I brought him in to replace Tavernier Headliners (who I absolutely love) but I needed a change for chem. He's not on the level of Tavernier in my opinion. He's quick and strong, decent enough on the ball and good in the air, but his positioning and reactions in defensive situations are not ideal, maybe it's the workrates but he just seems to stand still a little too often and not sense the danger.
Verdict: 7.5/10 - solid RB, decent CB - not top tier. Might be decent in midfield but I have Renato, Atal and Cucurella in those spots and they're far superior. I like the card but am looking to find a better replacement ASAP.
I used this Sambia in the RCB position of a 4-3-1-2 next to moments John Stones, he's a good balance as he feels fast and is very tall. He feels great despite the fact he's only on 7 chem. He's a wall at the back, can recover from getting spun with his 92 agility and he is good at passing out of the back with 83 short passing and 81 long. He's good for the price of 80,000~
