This card was a must get at first glance for me, links to hl Lozano and replaces Tonali as box to box(who is also an amazing card, I just thought zielinski is better). I bought for 109k and use him with anchor as a b2b paired with HL goretzka at CM in 4-2-2-2.
What can I say, he is simply a machine, he’s always in the right position. Always present in defence outside the box, and is always there when attacking. His stamina is good and is around halfway by the end of the game. You could say strength could be better but it’s enough imo(81 with anchor) and bodies most attackers off the ball.
The 4* 5* is amazing aswell.
(+)
+The noticeable one is shooting with 92 shot power and 99 long shots, every shot is a threat and he will score if in good position. He makes runs into box when my attackers are looking for options which is great as you can have confidence in him scoring from there aswell.
+Dribbling. It feels smooth and is great to have on a player for keeping the ball after winning it and dribbling past defenders when attacking
+Pace. Nothing to say, 94 pace with anchor for a box to box player is enough(for me). He can chase down pretty much any player when defending and no problem beating the opponent when on the counter.
+Passing is also really good. He just doesn’t mess them up whether it’s short or long(quite obvious with those stats)
(-)
-Interceptions? Maybe I’m not positioning him right all the time but there are situations where I feel like he could’ve reached for a ball but misses it. Not too much to worry as he makes up for it with great tackling.
I was searching for an good and cheap CAM, so Zielinski came perfect. I linked him with Palacio and Lozano with Catalyst Chem Style. I played him as typical CAM. Always between Strikers and Midfielders, so he can make some nice passes to my strikers and wingers and for me he did that job well. Especially long passes to my winger, he did better than all the other players so far. He actually is really pacey and create some nice chances. But what surprised me the most what his shoot. His 99 Long Shots is a weapon. Only issue I had was his body type. He felt really tall and not really agile, which made it hard to get some open shots with him (Especially when your not good at SM). But all in all he is a really good CAM .
Really good passing
Not really pricey
99 Long Shot + Long Shot Taker Trait
5 WF
good pace
body type (fells little bitt clunky)
Stamina ( I know its 90 but he can't play 90 minutes straight)
For the price he is no-brainer musst have for anyone playing with Serie A team.
Played him so far in 9 games in DR (not bothered with WL this year). In term of numerical return he is nothing special. But i play him as link CM and not expecting much. However, he still managed to score 2 bangers from outside of the box.
Passing allows him to provide key passes in transition play, and defensive attributes are solid for secondary CDM role. Main negative for defence id say is his low stature and physique.
