He absolutely blew me away, Muriel is easily a top 5 striker on the game. The fact that he is only 280k is bonkers. He can play in a lone striker formation as well as in a two striker formation. He suprisingly wins loads of headers, even from corners he is a menace. Give him a go, he is a starter and a super sub depending on your team.

I got lucky enough to get this guy out of a player pick and at first he was just a super sub for me, but after scoring 4 goals off the bench in 2 games I decided to shift the squad around and try him out, and what a card this guy is. He has the pace to rival the flashback Mbabu's at CB, his shooting feels insane with the stats that he has, and with a marksman he has the strength to win the ball back in the occasional tackle. The weak foot was great too at 4*, but finesse shots with his left are probably something you shouldn't try too often. Passing is decent, but he does miss a pass here and there, which I guess is to be expected with his long passing. Overall though, this guy feels like a value version of Freeze Mane. Insane pace, insane dribbling, insane shooting, coupled with decent physicals and good wf and skill moves, and this guy can be an incredible player for your team, either starting or coming off the bench.

I really wanted to try him out due to his insane stats and was lucky enough to pack him out of an upgrade pack. Therefor, he became my striker in this WL and delivered.
Pace:
He definetly is really fast but doesn't quite feel like 97 pace, gold Mbappe for example still feels faster than him.
Shooting:
His finishing is top tier. Whenever he puts himself into a decent position and he does so often due to his positioning he will score you don't recognize the composure being 'only' 86. However, I wouldn't try scoring long range shots with him, as he lacks the finnese shot trait.
Dribbling:
His dribbling is alright but the average body type kind of effects it in a bad way which makes him feel a bit clunky, especially on bad gameplay. However, on good gameplay he moves pretty smooth with the ball, but not quite like his stats promise though.
Passing:
His short passing is decent, however, I wouldn't try playing crazy through balls with him.
Defending:
Obviously not important for an attacker but he does offer you a little defensive presence due to his high medium work rates and his strength as he will win some balls when pressing the opponent.
Physicality:
His strength is good as I already mentioned before which makes it hard for the defender to outbody him.

I was lucky enough to pack this card on the first day of Serie A TOTS, and I changed my team in order to fit this card in. I was expecting this card to be at least 80% of his stats, but that just wasn't the case. There are a lot of things wrong about this card that just make him a mediocre card at best. Let's start with the pace. Muriel's 97 pace often felt like an 85, and he was being caught up all the time. He wasn't being caught up by Mbabus, but by players like gold Varane, and even gold Manolas in objectives. He couldn't really outpace anyone, and I think this is because of his height and average body type working against him. Let's move onto his shooting. I put a marksman on him and that maxed out his shooting. He did his job in front of goal, but any good striker can do that. I didn't really notice anything special about his attacking AI, and he didn't really make any good runs or adjustments that would warrant a 96 Attack Positioning stat. I tried him out on all types of instructions from stay central, come back on defense, get in behind, target man, and so on. He didn't really feel natural in any of those instructions. I used him next to TOTS Lautaro Martinez and his attacking AI and runs were just miles ahead of Muriel's. His finesse shots were nice however, and he did have some nice finishes if he got into the right positions. Muriel's passing was fine, but sometimes he would mess up a through ball due to his bad long pass stat. Muriel's dribbling has got to be the biggest problem with this card, and he just doesn't feel good. The problem was once again his height and body type, which basically made his 97 agility feel like 85 at best. His composure also really let him down, and he would often mess up passes under pressure, and his dribbling would be drastically worse under pressure as well. The last thing that made this card mediocre is is low aggression stat. He didn't really fight for the badge, and didn't have that tenacity to win the ball back after losing it. Having no 5* WF or SM along with having no traits also made this card really predictable and easy to defend. I was kinda scared to dribble, pass, and really do anything other than shoot with this card, and would often let someone like Lautaro Martinez do the job. Overall, there's a reason that this so called 98 rated striker is under 150k, and I would personally stay away, and just spend an extra 100k for someone like a TOTS Lautaro Martinez.

I don't know what it is, I play him up front with Prime Eto'o, Prime Kaka and 92 POTM Bruno behind them. With a marksman his card looks like an absolute beast, but for some reason in game he feels like he can't do anything. He gets through and I play him through, their CB catches up and just shrugs him off the ball really easily.
He's scored 2 in 10 for me currently whereas Eto'o is slotting them in with ease.
From the looks of his card, I thought he could be a columbian Mbappe, but I won't like gold Mbappe feels a lot smoother. He would make up for a good super sub, but I don't think he's as good as his stats show. I think I'm going to go back to Lucas Vasques TOTS as a RF in strike because he scored a lot more goals.
