This Kessi card is the best holding midfielder I have used. Incredible strength and size. He is surprisingly agile. His passing is sublime. He can ping them all over the pitch. And the long shots are unreal. You cannot get a more complete midfielder for 500k. I have used Moments Ballack and Mid Viera and this card is on Par with both of those.
So I packed him from idk rivals or something and I was happy straight away, his ELRTTF was an absolute beast so this one should be even better, and boy he was.
He shoots absolute cannon shots and he has decent pace. Dribbling is a bit weird. Because he isn´t very agile but at the same time it doesn´t really matter, this is because his gravity centre is very low and he feels like some sort of Kante: Balance type dribbling. His passing is absolutely amazing. Perfect long balls. His defending is cracked because he does all these auto standing tackle where you don't even have to do anything. And then his physical, he bodies literally everyone. Yes, also Varane. In the games that I played, he had pushed Varane to the GROUND twice. There is this one thing that wasn't as good as I hoped. That is that he didn't feel very present with defending. With attacking however he felt very present.
As someone who loves playing aggressive fifa and getting stuck into tackles and controlling the game i love fairly pacey, agile and strong midfielders, so Kessie looks immensely promising but simply doesn't play to his stats, doesn't appear to have the in game agility with the big player model and just doesnt seem anywhere near his pace, used him alongside prime vieira who is a great comparison as vieira is one of the best but kessie out performs him in every stat category and comes nowhere near to vieira's in game presence. Would highly recommend to save your coins and look for another player!
My man felt like he was chasing butterflies all round the pitch. i am absolutely speechless of how bad he felt on the pitch
judging by the face stats i thought this man would be strong like Dwayne Johnson but my man is weaker than Kevin Hart
For real tho : He lacks the agility that a CDM would need in this time of the year ; he does have pseudo stats i would say
physical would be ~ 85 something and defense would be ~ 82 (overall not worth a ~500k price tag ) i reckon De paul or Barella would be much better options at cm
i mean not many options in the Serie A tots event so you're kinda stuck with this lad
2x link to tots Theo who is absolutely class if you can afford him
high Defensive work rates
You wont get much for 500k in Serie A so give him a go if you want
well (high Defensive work rates) but doesnt do much coming back
High attacking work rates so kinda ruins using him as 3rd CB
fake stats
just too much to complain about to actually fit these spaces
Kessie has disappointed me a lot especially because of his physique. He has all 99 and I expected an energetic player that would block anyone and instead he looks like a normal player that intercepts very little. The stats lie for sure. I have used him as a CDC both with intercepting passes and with man coverage. He's been a bit of a disappointment on the head too.
