Acuña matata

I played Acuña as a Cam in this match to test out his Stamina / Attacking capability, since I already used his 94/96 ever since I packed him as a CDM which I knew he was great as.

I used a Basic Chemistry style on him (although using the Gladiator before he got the 98) Mainly since it fills almost all "weak" points he has (Essentially maxing out his: Sprint Speed, Volleys, Vision, Short Pass, Long Pass, Agility, Def Awarenes, Slide Tackle & Strength) Jumping doesn't matter for him honestly

The most "relatable" way I could probably describe him, or at least the way most people could get a idea of how he probably plays: Renato Sanchez on steroids.

If Argentina win this upcoming weekend and Acuña's 5* weak foot actually plays as a 5* weak foot (not the "5*" weak foot that is just a 6* main foot / 3* weak foot) Acuña will quite likely be the single best midfielder in the game, possibly in any Fifa thus far (In my personal Opinion / Experience).

The way he can twist and turn is not quite as smoothe as someone like Messi or PICM Xavi, but extremely close, considering his "Stocky" body type. He will not feel nearly as clunky as something like RB Pogba or TOTS Goretzka (which I myself find quite clunky essentially turning like a airplane)

His Pace is like almost everyone else at this point (roughly 97-99)

His Shooting is like most Strikers at this point (although lacking that extra bit of finesse)

His passing is similar to if not better then PICM Xavi

His defending is comparable if not better then TOTS Goretzka

His Strength might be a tiny bit underwhelming, but that's not due to the stat but his Length (which also grants him the better Agility ingame that makes him so much better to play)

And yes, He will keep on running Like N'golo Kanté, sleep is merely a myth.

For a "stocky" body type he turns almost as smoothe as someone like PICM Xavi

Shoots like a Rocket, Just doesn't finesse it as well as your Attackers (probably) will

His Passing is on essentially the best I've had (Comparing to Moments Iniesta & PICM Xavi mainly)

Defends like a beast, but not quite a auto block god like TOTS Varane (although still active by himself)

Currently only 4* Skills & 3* Weak foot (But could be resolved if they win against Brazil)

Feels a bit weaker then his "99" strength as he is quite small, still puts up a fight just can't handle big guys

Track Back Jack of all Trades
By rel10, 21-06-2021

Having loved his showdown, still my go to mid/def supersub until this card was released, I had to get my hands on it.

Playing CDM in a 352 alongside the more attacking TOTS Aouar. Aouar has added goals, and Acuna is more than capable of handling the defense on his own. I usually played 2 defensive tasked mids with attacking stats just a bonus. This new dynamic setup has won me more games. The only card I could imagine doing the job is TOTS De Jong, but I didn't have the coins.

If you have tried him, De Jong has the capability of catching up to attackers and stripping the ball cleanly and consistently. Other CDMs are more brute force or positioning. Acuna is the best of both worlds. He's a bull with finesse.

He hasn't contributed much in attacking stat-wise, but he is still critical. Despite being my only defensive mid, without hesitation I take the ball forward with him as I know he can track back. When he beats a defender, which he can easily do, I'm now looking at 6 players attacking players in front of him... in this Fifa that wins you games.

...he hasn't been upgraded yet
