Headline: OUTRUN EVERYONE. SKILL INTO POSITION. THEN ACTUALLY SCORE WITH THIS INCREDIBLE VERSION OF VINICIUS JR.
I've always loved watching Vinicius Jr., that is, until he gets anywhere near the goal. This card has fixed that and then some. With pace, dribbling stats, and shooting all at an elite 90+ level, there's not a whole lot left to be desired. If you DO desire anything though, with Brazil looking good, it's a safe bet to assume that 1 or 2 upgrades are going to happen.. bringing this lad to a 95 or 96, with no pace upgrade possible - spreading those increased stats to dribbling, passing and shooting. Because of this, If Brazil manages to win COPA, or even simply make it to the final, there shouldn't be a doubt that a 97 ovr 55 Vinicius would be absolutely one of the most sought after attackers in the game.
Is this guy worth 3.5 mil? Depends on your play style, and probably not without the guaranteed upgrades. I lucked out and got him out of the 82x8 pack, so cost wasn't an issue. What I can tell you, is that this guy's attacking ai, pace, skill moves and shooting makes him an amazing (top 10 in the game) option on the wing or at ST.
Key takeaways:
Because of the lean body type, and the 99/99, Vinicius Jr. is without a doubt the fastest player that I've used.
His 5* skill moves feel like 6* because of the pace and base dribbling.
Applying a MAESTRO chem style boosts one of of the only downsides of this card (reactions) to a 93 and long shots to a 99. MARKSMAN would boost his strength and jumping.
5* skills: Feels like 6. He does things on the ball that I have not seen before.
Pace: 99/99 base is okay if you're into that sort of thing.
Finishing: Pure strikes more often than not.
Passing: Vision 99/Short Pass 98/Long Pass 97 with MAESTRO
Body Type: Lean for this type of player is a gamechanger.
Price: 3.5 MIL just isn't possible for the vast majority of players.
Composure: Every once in a while, this card will throw in the Vinicius special, sending shots out of the stadium and knocking himself off the ball.
pulled him out of my rivals rewards as untrade, so i had to play him. trade would be better, but im happy that i packed such a expensive and nice card.
hes sick in everything. outruns every defender, even fullbacks, and shoots very clinical, had only one shot which gone wide. passing is very strong, makes nearly no mistakes, can pass long and short for double passes. no words needed for his dribbling: agile af, nice balance, ball cant get lost, the letdowns composure and the low reactions doesnt affect him. stamina is very nice, you can run 120 mins from the one to the other side of the pitch and can prevail against defenders, even if its more like glitching...
defending isnt important and i didnt try.
price i dont know. hes sick and wont dissapoint you, but for 4.5 mil you can get multiple meta cards. also the chance of getting 5* wf is very interesting.
fazit: sick in everything and you will be happy with him, even for the high price, but not a must have card, i think, if you have only 4.5 mil and want a new card.
