Without question the best free card up released on this FIFA, maybe more. Put it simply, this rivals Acuna and Verartti, though lacks the defensive work rates to efficiently worl as a defender.
He is really easy to complete, not just because of SB and rivals, also because you can complete 6 objectives in 4 games; buy the FB Atal off the market, he's only 27k which is a bargain for how card the fut birthday is. You can complete the first 6 easily, as well as finishing off Alessandrini and Tavernier
I've played 3 games with him, in ST. CAM, CM and RB in a 4312, and cam worked best for me as I do feel his defensive ability is wasted playing purely at ST, vice versa his attacking ability is lost playing RB so CAM/CM is a nice blend, though CM wasn't as good due to medium defensive work rates
This is a god send from EA and shows there's still something to play for in July, and a treat in riva;s
Hi guys, I did this review on my yt channel (Luiselme) so if u want a more visual review u can go and see it , otherwise, u can read it.
So, Atal futties , i swear i neves think EA would give one of the bests cards in the game for free!, obviously, oyu have to play almost 20 sb matches but belive me, it´s totally worth it, i played 6 games with him (division 1) scored 12 GOALS and did 1 assist, so, u can actually notice how good he is, he can do it perfectly in any position , but, the best position is ST (for me), 5* 5* summed to 99 pace is letal, i swear he is the fastest player i´ve ever used, his shooting is unbelieavle, specially his defition, he neves misses, also, hi doesnt have a weakfoot , he can shoot perfectly with left or right, his passes are class, specially LONG ones, i swear he has one of the best dribblings in the game, physically he is good, bu is not akinfwnwa obviously, can be pushed sometimes, the only thing i didn´t enjoy that much, was his defense, it´s good but it recommend using him next to a more defensive CDM, so, this is one of the bests cards in the game, so, this is a must do player, hope you liked my review I always try my best :)
One of the bests dribblings in the game
One of the bests cards in the game for free
You know a player is class when you dont know where to play him lol
Well he is literally perfect so what do u want me to say... I guess all I can say is do him before he expires and if you want to make your opponents suffer he is the guy for that job trust me - he is eh for links but I'm fine personally as I have a fair few ligue 1 cards. EZ 10/10 for me, be sure to check out my vid for some of his best highlights (u can see it down below or on my YouTube Reshirex).
Atal was used as central attacking midfielder in a 4-3-1-2 formation. Atal moves very fast and if you use the 5 star skill moves affectively, then it is worth the hard work to get this card. The 5 star weak foot is most affective at the edge of the box or in a 1 vs 1 situation with a player or keeper.
Reliability with "weak foot"
I sometimes get carried away with the skill moves and eventually lose the ball
This review is intended for the more casual player. I'm Div 5 and have not played WL this entire year. I'm still learning skill moves and I don't abuse mechanics. I like real football...passing, build up play, etc...
Since this card can be done through squad battles, I'm also assuming that some of you are not Div1/Div2 elite players who can chain together reverse elasticos and other skill moves in your sleep.
I first tried Atal as my CAM, with SS Kimmich as my RAM. I thought Atal's agility would provide the playmaking ability needed to get the ball to TOTY CR7. But, as I played the card, I felt he didn't have the strength I needed at CAM in a 4231, as he was routinely bullied in the middle of the pitch. After 2 games I moved him in game to RAM or RM in a 442, and inserted KDB as my CAM (moving Kimmich to the bench). This suited my playstyle better and gave me both strength and passing in the middle of the pitch.
Atal has done great out wide as a RAM or RM. I have all of the confidence in the world in his defensive presence, and feel comfortable making overlapping runs with Zambrotta, knowing that Atal is there to help with the defensive duties.
