I was running out of options for defenders so the time finally came to purchase Phil Jones, and what a player he was.
He was solid the entire weekend league I played with him and was a very strong aerial threat, coupled with Harry Maguire this made an unstoppable defence that players such as TOTY Mbappe struggled to break down my defense as the Manchester United duo held off any threats. Overall I think he and Maguire were the reason I was finally able to secure silver 1 in the latest weekend league and get Lorenzo Insigne from my red picks.
