First of all i packed him in a untradeable pack. I had Tagliafico hyperlink with Promes i was really happy with that duo. And i was a little bit disappointed that i packed Robertson but my friends told me to give him a chance. And i am really happy that i did that! If i look at his stats im not impressed but in game he is exactly really good! His pace in the combination of his defending is great he has not a lot of strenght but you don't see that he push players away he intercept the balls easily and his standing tackles are really usefull! It's a defensive playmaker if you need to clear the ball in your own area just pass to Robertson he can dribble, pass cross the ball away it is really usefull! He can take good corners aswell.
His passing is amazing he is so solid with the ball almost every pass is a good pass.
His pace in combination with his defence he can intercept so easy the ball. You don't see the 83 pace.
I don't see any cons he is so solid at every stat!
I was unsure whether to go for a cheaper option like Reguilon, but I decided to plump for the Liverpool LB who was 75k at the time. Got him for 70k.
With a shadow, his tackling ability is impeccable. Pace is also not a problem and his physicality is surprisingly good for the stats. Stamina is obviously a massive factor and with 95 it is excellent. Passing from what I have seen so far has been nothing to worry about. I play 442 with my full backs on stay back while attacking, yet knowing how Robertson operates, he does move up the pitch a lot which sometimes leaves you vulnerable on the counter.
Overall, I still would say it's a worthy investment.
Complete utter garbage. Used him for ages since October, as i needed a Dutch PL or Liverpool left back and i couldn't afford rulebreakers Van Aanholt, but recently his form over the new year makes me want to put the normal Van Aanholt. Not only is he too slow to function properly, he doesn't have a shred of intelligence as he's seemingly in Narnia when he's needed the most. The 'man' is worthless not only is frequently sat on his arse by full backs, he also leaves HUGE areas behind him open (even with custom tactics) and the jester lacks any sort of pace to catch up, his clownlike performances on the pitch were immediately put to shame after using Sinkgraven in a different team. The only benefit of this card is the fact he can pass and lasts the full game.
Unless you are seriously desperate i would stay away from this card. I have come to conclusion that he is too much of a liability to keep thus i have revamped my squad entirely to remove this cretin of the highest order.
Stamina, lasts whole game and ET in champs
Passing is fairly reliable (Moments Stones is better)
Links (One of the only 'useable LBs in the game)
Worthless pace
laughable defending
completely useless strength
utterly pointless shooting (never scored on an online game)
