Im pretty sure that we will be seeing Gomez for few months, he is really solid centre back! Hes quite expensive, but i guess he can go even higher. For 100k we got amazing player who can easly catch aubameyang or wener. GO FOR HIM
First of all, what a beast! I have played with Gomez for around 150 games now and he´s just so fckin good! I have played him in a 442 formation along side davinson sanchez, lucas Hernandez and diego Carlos, and he has proven to be an absolute beast. He bullies the attackers with his strength and he can keep up with nearly all the fast strikers. In addition his AI blocking is broken. He is like a magnet to all the opposition shots I do have to say I used him with a shadow, and with pace being the absolute meta i would recommend it to everybody. I only find one con with him, and that is his ball control. He is a good passer, but he will feel stiff and clunky on the ball which have lead to goals. But, I am a div 2 player and he fits perfect to anyone team.
Its like if he doesn't need a reason to take the ball from the attacker. If you are the attacker and have the ball, sorry but Joe Gomez is going to steal it. Very fast and very assuring.

He has been a game changer as before i bought him i was getting out paced everytime but now i have a centre half who can keep up with all the strikers. i absoulutly love using hi and i hope i can keep using him in the future.
so ive used joe gomez for around 1 weekend league and 20 div rivals games in div 2. he has saved me so many times from conceding goals from counter attacks and corners.
BOY is this guy good. He is so quick and strong and particularly good for this fifa where defenders play high and attackers are so quick. He feels so much like a slightly more agile Virgil Van Djik and I can imagine the pair of them will be the best defensive pairing in the game right now.

I think the price is very good for such a good defender he is a cheap Van Dijk.
This guy is absolute beast at cb and will last you a very long time. Every times he's in a 1 on 1 most of the time he makes a strong tackle. For the first few games with him I barely conceded any goals. And for them styles I would recommend anchor but shadow works as well. For 17k this guy is a beast.
Hello. I packed this guy in my 100 finesse goals pack untradeable so i used him. I really expected so much better but hes so bad.
He left gaps in the defence, he catched up to everyone But whenever i tackle the ball bounces of his feet/Went back to his player/he didnt win the ball. He is also very heavy. You could get BOTH koulibaly and manolas for 100k. Also, his strength was ok

I made an account solely for the reason to talk about how garbage this card is. Are you looking for a defender who will miss the ball, leave acres of space open and turns like a truck? Are you looking for someone who will singlehandedly get outmuscled by the likes of Alejandro Gomez, Dries Mertens and Raheem Sterling? Well, look no further than Joe Gomez, the biggest waste of 100k ever. I wouldn't use him again even if he was free.
I cannot stress enough - he is SO BAD. I'm hovering between Division 1 and 2 and the reason for that is this sorry excuse of a defender lost me games that I should've easily won otherwise
