I played this lad both as RB who is only defending as well as a fullback who is also attacking. I cannot recommend him to play as a fullback, but as a defending RB he is solid. Additionally, the pace upgrade he received really makes a difference compared to his base card. However, if you start running a little too late there is a small chance of him catching up. Nevertheless, Denzel really stands out during corners. He has been the only player for me to consistently score headers from corners. Also, his strength makes him easily win a physical duel. Unfortunately, his slow reactions (despite being 88), low passing and low defensive awareness makes the defense vulnerable. Occasionally, you find him out of his position and allowing the attacker too much space. Overall I think you get a decent card for the price he is going.

After using this chaps TOTS card last year I had to splash out the coins for him again. Hes an animal who excels in both wing back and centre back positions. Hes a rock at the back as well as in the air climbing highest to score many corners. Hes well worth the 25k and you wont be dissapointed in this beast of a man. He even can let loose 35 yard rockets. A must have if you have VVD and De jong.

Throw all your hate on me, but meta is meta for a reason and if you want to do your best in fut champs fullbacks at cb are the way to go. This man is the definition of a fullback meant to be a CB.
