I'm sorry if my english isn't perfect throughout this review, i'm Dutch myself.

Let's start this review on this beauty of a card. I'm really enjoying all the bundesliga cards this year, especially at the back. I saw the two reviews on this card both saying he was a disappointment, well i can tell you he is not.

He is a rock at the back. He is very strong and his tackles are phenomonal. His pace is very good for a CB. What makes Akanji even better is the fact that his short and long passes are very good, which are the only passingstats that matter to a CB.

I tried RTTF Klostermann as well and i can say Akanji is as good. With Dortmund already being through to the knockout stages this card becomes even better this week. Dortmund have a very nice team and i can see them progressing at least to the quarter finals.

All in all this Akanji is absolute worth it for this price, especially with the links to IF Delaney, RTTF Zakaris en many other sick bundesliga defenders.

Strength: Akanji is very strong, he bullies defenders of the ball.
Pace: he can keep up with most defenders which is very handy this FIFA.
Passing: his short and long passes are outstanding.
Heading: he already scored some corners for me.

Dribbling: not even necessary for a CB tho.

Can't see any cons in a card for this price that is this good.

That last upgrade (84->86) really turned this man into prime Maldini. As someone who played 10 depth with attacking full backs, I'm really relying on my CBs to do it all. Build up attack, be the last line of defence, dribble the ball to create new passing lanes, play long balls over the top and outpace the likes of Rashford and Mbappe. Why using Varane?

I got this banger from a party bag, and he was a fat W for me. I do not have much money in fifa, so I had to use his IF because I could not afford him. He was already good, but this one is perfect. 5 stats above 80 is amazing for a CB, and to be fair I still didn't find something in which he is not good at. Of course he is very expensive now, at least for me, but if you get him from a party bag, just try him, what a beast!
