Hi all, this is my first ever review of a player (and first time using an Icon player before the game/season is dead, a la FIFA 20).

So I did the Hernandez SBC and placed him straight into my team, and went into Rivals to try him out (Div 6, close to hitting Div 5). 6 goals in 3 games may not sound like a great return, but I'm yet to throw him into Weekend League to fully test him out, so this review is based on those 3 games.

Pace for days: While paired up with Teixeira up top, 1-2s between them are a joy to do and infuriating for opponent defenses.

Shooting: As mentioned, 6 goals in 3 games (albeit Div 6) is an ok return thus far, but seems to score finesse shots, tap-ins and has grabbed an outside-the-box goal or two (even though his Long Shots stat didn't get any love from the Finisher chem style)

Dribbling: I'm not a tryhard skiller, so I don't do a lot of skill moves; but Hernandez does seem quite agile and well-balanced on the ball, and can dribble quite well. Naturally a much better player than me could fully extract his potential, but I didn't seem to find an issue.

Passing: This would be where this card starts to falter. While he can do close proximity 1-2s with another #9, he struggles to play them through accurately beyond an opponent's backline (8/10 times he'll pass it straight to their defender).

Physical: Others have said he can run out of stamina, but I'm yet to have him hit this hurdle while playing with him - I've got the full 90 minutes out of him.

So should you do his SBC? At this point of the game, it's probably redundant, with Icon Swaps going on and Prime Icons now in packs; but if you've got the fodder and/or zero interest in the Freeze promo players, then give him a go. If not, just buy him and try him out

Do not sleep on El Matador

This guy is unexpectedly good...I completed his sbc because at the time I was in need of a decent striker and I completed him for only 50k - He is totally worth it!! My guy has an outrageous right foot and he is very quick. Until now no center back was able to catch up to him.
