Player Review

Wow. I did not expect to be writing my first review of fifa 21 on this guy, nor did I expect him to be the most game changing player this year (yes, I have an untradeable gold CR7). Quite honestly the most fun CF I've used this year. I say CF because despite playing mainly at ST for me (occasionally at CAM), he seemed to be neither 100% a striker or 100% a cam. However, his runs in behind were sublime, just about having enough pace to get past the defensive line when he got the ball. I'll hopefully get on twitch soon and record a proper review for this guy. I apologise in advance for any typos/weirdly worded sentences.
- free kicks
This mans free kicks were surprisngly good considering shot power, scored a cracker in off the bar in my last game.
- finesse, finesse, finesse
Just finesse it and see what happens, sometime flies in, sometimes doesn't but it's an effective way to trouble the opposition keeper from just outside the box.
- passing
Honestly, the best passer I've used all year, beautiful chips over the offside trap, threaded balls between defenders, crosses, standard 5 yard balls, Baggio makes it all look so easy and hardly ever gets it wrong.
- dribbling
Despite being 17 I am well aware of what Baggio was like in real life. This means the occasional attempt at dribbling through the whole of the oppositions team, including their GK, surprisingly it worked more often that not despite myself being not the most proficient skiller in the world.
- weak foot
Felt really good for a 4*, scored some great goals with his left and hardly ever let me down when through on goal
~ pace and stamina
I have used a ~ because they didn't blow me away but they weren't terrible either. With his immaculate technical prowess, the need for ridiculous pace in game wasn't there and he was certainly fast enough for the CAM/ST role in my team. Stamina was okay, he could last 90 minutes but it was getting a bit iffy by the end. Didn't matter thought coz 9 times out of 10 he's already dropped a masterclass by this point and can focus on passing through a tired defence instead of dribbling through it.
- physicality
Naturally, not the strongest player in the world. However, didn't feel as bad as the stats suggested with the occasional battle for the ball going in his favour (probably DDA thought tbh).
- bad gameplay
In bad gameplay don't be disappointed when you can no longer skill your way through the whole team and top bin it from 25 yards out - did miss the occasional good chance but that's more due to my inability to read keeper movement / terrible gameplay.
- shot power consistency
To be expected, sometimes an absolute rocket, other times a pea roller. Get used to where he can score regularly from and abuse that.
