John Stones?!?!

Not a crazy amount of stuff to say. Im not to hype for TOTY so I was all in to try another sbc card...he was very solid. He's no Varane, but I think he is on par with Gomez. He needs shadow for pace, but other than that he is a very fun card to use. I think he is close enough to META to be considered usable, and even to be considered weekend league worthy.

Dribbling (so funny)

Defending (literally everything)

Passing out the back (not bad at all)

Very decent stamina

HILARIOUS TO USE

Kinda slow (shadow guys)

Med defensive work rate (out of position occasionally)

Is it a good price?

For me it was a great card, yes, Joe Gomez is faster and cheaper, but I want him to defend, not to be my LW. And his pace isn’t bad at all, 150k isn’t so expensive and you can use fodders, I got him for 50k. And his passes and dribbling is great for a CENTRE-BACK. Plus it really nice to have a defender with 4* wf and 3 skills, something that most defenders don’t have, something to consider too is that he has great agi...

Surprisingly Good!

First time writing a review so here goes nothing. I had Joe Gomez (like everyone else) in the back and paired him up with Varane. Did Stones for free with all the untradeables I have prepared for TOTY so I didn't sacrifice a lot for him and didn't sacrifice much fodder. Obviously, Gomez and Varane are very meta, but I needed a change of scenery in the back and Gomez can never win aerial battles for me. Stones solved my prob...
