Varanes kryptonite

What a card. Anybody that is even slightly interested in doing him, make sure you do or you will 100% regret it later. This is a TOTY level card for 400k, compare him to TOTY KDB and tell me if hes worth the best part of 2 million coins more. I use Rooney as a secondary striker in a 442 on balanced attacking instructions and he is so well rounded.

Pace - He feels much quicker than stats suggest. I have him the engine chem style and eve non 7 chem he is quick enough to run past defenders.

Physicality - This man is almost unstoppable. Something about his short height, high strength and stocky build means he can muscle past players, including Varane on multiple occasions, a player that I have always hated coming up against.

Shooting - HIs shot is ridiculously good. He can whip finesses from all angles into the top corners and has really good composure when rushed by opposition goalkeepers.

Agility - So if you are a massive skiller or do nothing but wriggle around in small circles for 20 minutes at a time like most people seem to do in fut champs, this guy probably isn't for you. His dribbling feels a little off, probably again due to his stocky body type.

weak foot - his weak foot is fine, but a couple of times he did choose to shoot with his left when he could have gone with his right, could just be my error though.

When I saw this card, I had to do him. I knew it would take a special card to replace Joao Felix POTM who has 400+ goal contributions in 190 games played for me, predominantly in fut champs and by all appearances this card looks special. EA have given him 4* skills (I struggle with attackers that don't have at least 4 star skills in this game), improved work rates, and boosted stats in all the key areas, especially stamina....
