Oh Lewy, I wish you were META

At the outset, I am a mediocre Fifa player. The current state of the game (gameplay mechanics, bugs and delay) has me playing only till 14 wins in WL (usually 14-2) and a few games in Rivals div 1 (at around 2200 SR). I just can't take anymore of the bullshit. Sad, right?

I packed a few TOTY cards luckily and really wanted to try Lewy. I scraped up the coins finally and got him at 2,4 mil. Put him in a very strong 442 side, alongside Bruno TOTY at striker, with stay central and balanced instructions and engine chemstyle.

I failed to mention that I am Polish and may be a bit biased, since this is the first Polish TOTY card in history.

Anyhow, the general feeling I got from playing 43 games with Lewy is that it is not a META card and probably not really at the top of the strikers. Also sad, right?

His in-game body type unfortunately dumbs down the insane stats he has on this card. That pertains mostly to how he moves on the ball. He is just not that quick on the turn, lacks that explosive speed and these glitched bursts, which players like Mbappe, Neymar and Ronaldo have. He doesn't have that "sticky" factor these others META players display (though I wish there was no sticky in this game, it's total BS). Don't get me wrong, he is superb at finishing once you get that clear shot. He can bury it from any position. The problem sometimes (especially in laggy gameplay) is that he is just not quick enough to create that space for the clean shot. Defenders seem to catch up with his movements.

If you manage to get that drag back, scoop or berba right, than it's a goal. Otherwise, it's hard to really wiggle out of tough spots with him.

He takes some getting used to and honestly, he is probably not a card for everyone.

Big added value is corner headers. I scored a whole bunch, he out jumps defenders and has superb accuracy.

All in all, I wish he really played up to the stats. I was happy with the numbers (54 goals in 43 games), but will keep looking and testing other strikers.

He is worth giving him a shot, but don;t expect he will be the glitching thru asshole striker alongside the likes of Mbappe, Ronaldo and Neymar.

Let me set the scene, I have 11 Packs saved for TOTY, because you're probably more likely to win the lottery then pack one of these so I didn't bother going crazy. I open the untradeable rare mega you get get from the rival wins objective. I'm thinking it's a ucl (I didn't even see the different flair)… Polish... Striker. I started hyperventilating. Never in my 7 years of Ultimate Team ever had a TOTY in my club.

Hi guys it's my first review this year and it's all about this Lewandowski card. At this stage of the game he's one of the best strikers (behind Mbappe who is way expensive and so). This year this Lewi card has great model, not fat and ugly like in fifa 20. He's not that fast like Rashford and Martial, but when you make some space for him, he's gonna take it. His passing is good, you can use him like strong forward for pass...

Where do I even begin with this card? Lewandowski’s POTM came out today at around 3pm UK time, and the wait was worthwhile. It fits perfectly into any Bundesliga as he is from one of the main teams, but for a polish nationality, he is hard to hybrid with other polish players. Why you should complete this SBC, you won't be dissapointed.
