Player Review

On my second account i have decided to complete him. I don't know why, TOTS is coming on april 24 but i didn't want to use the top meta players. I used him on many places in the field. That's why im not giving him an rating for one position. I based his rating on the position where he is the best, as a cam. I played him as an rm, cam, cm and even as a rb, after 10 matches i know enough about how good he is. I used the 4-2-3-1 formation while i play him as a rm, cam or cm and use 5-3-2 when i set him rb.

Rm: He was very good. I used hawk on him, he is very fast and agile. A benefit is that he is left, this is a fact that only a few people know because nobody uses a gold Saul for the fun. Because he is left, he can cut inside and shoot while many people think he is right footed. The finesse shot trait in combination with the long shot trait is an extra benefit. Only the h/h workrates were a problem because he don't go deep out himself. That's his only problem on rm. And of course, gold Ferland Mendy was faster than 97 pace Saul. (8/10)

Cam: On cam he is the best. I used again hawk on him. He scored many goals from here. Again, his left foot was absolutely deadly. THe workrates aren't really a problem. The only problem here is that you must have a really fast cam to switch ingame with him and his lean body type results in that he has absolutely no chance going in to a duel with defenders. (9/10)

Cm: I used anchor on him as cm: On cm he is good, he is agile, can defend, is fast, the h/h workrates are here ideal for him because i need an box to box player with 90+ stamina. The 91 stamina results in the fact that he is never tired on the field. He keeps going and going, but again, the body type is a problem. (7/10)

Rb: Again i used anchor on him. I start with a 3-5-2 formation here and i set him ingame as a rb in a 5-3-2 version, but im not a rat to hold my backs behind and use fullbacks as a cb. I give him the instruction go forward and he is amazing on rb. He can do everything, he is fast enough to catch a winger, can shoot, can give a pass with both legs, is very agile, can defend and on this position he can finally win a duel against a fast winger like Mane or Neymar. (7,5/10)

Conclusion: He is very good, he is left footed, can play on different positions and is close to being in Gullit gang. But if i advise you to do him. The answer is clear. No, yes he is good, but is he going to be better than TOTS rm's like Wamangituka with a wf boost or other TOTS cards? No, save your coins. At tots, cards in a off league are going to have better stats than him and are tradeble and cheaper, EA literally put these sbc's online for you to waste your fodder or coins so your'e going to buy fifa points. At team of the season, there are so many better cards than him, you've lost fodder or coins, spare those for the tots sbc's and ignore the sbc's before tots. Wait, save packs for the promo and don't do him. The only reason to do him, is if you are a diehard Atletico fan or fan of Saul. Otherwise he is it not worth it.
