The most underrated cdm ever?

I packed Hughes from the guaranteed EFL pack and after a brief check of his stats, thought he was nothing special. Damn, was I wrong. This man repeatedly gets ratings of 10, he completes so many dribbles, can make filthy passes, tackles like a rugby player on drugs and can even shoot if you need him to. His height means he can win 10/10 aerial duels, his skill moves are decent, not that you would ever need this as a cdm, and he feels surprisingly light on the ball. It's crazy that he's 30k (especially since he's Gullit Gang) and if you want a solid english cdm, he's your man.

Is the perfect cdm, he can dribble, pass, tackle, and even shoot

He's a huge presence on the pitch with his height

Med Med workrates means he can disappear from time to time, but when he pops up, he dominates the game

He can get pushed off the ball from time to time, so an anchor or something that improves physical is a must

30k Gullit Club

Today I wanted to get some TOTS into my team to change it up and try players I would've never thought of using before. Then I packed will Hughes in my 83 x 10 pack so I had to fit him into my team. For a 30k player this guy was great. He felt quick but not blazing fast. Unfortunately I did not get many shooting opportunities with him to try out his shooting that looks good. EFL Gullit for 45k.

Paired with baby blanc at CDM, he commanded the midfield better than anyone I've used at this price tag. Stick an anchor on him and he's the championship Ruud Gullit. Although he's 6'1, he has the nimble feel of Kante for jockeying and makes fantastic interceptions. I'd say he's the best value-for-money CDM in the game at the moment.

Billy Hughes!

I've had a lot of fun so far with this Hughes card. I had recently been using Kimmich's 92 TIF and neuhaus' FS card and Hughes reminds me of them in a lot of ways. They all have the same kinda pace with, when boosted by shadow, get them to mid-high 90's in acceleration and mid 80's for sprint speed.
