A beast

I got him in red and immediateley built a new team around him. Before I start: mine is only 8 chem so maybe he'd be better full chem

I play him as ST in the 4-4-2 and he replaced Suarez TOTS. There are no differences between Luis and Romelu concerning the amount of goals they score but there are huge difference in the way it feels to play them. Although they pushed his agilitiy to a 89 ist doesn't really feel like a 89. It still feels like playing a massive refridgerator which takes a lot getting used to but it of course has some advandtages like you can do the FIFA 13 still and just run through weak defenders. I feel like he needs a lot time to switch from a pacey run to 1 vs 1 dribbling. He dribbles very well in calm scenes but there's a huge difference to a Messi or Neymar, who can just dribble themselves within a speedrun through the penalty area (Suarez is way better in that point). I'm sure a lot of FUT Players would have huge difficulties with Lukaku because he's just extremely different to the usual meta strikers you know in FIFA 21.

Of course his finishing is absolutely insance. He smashes balls into the net you didn't actually expect to go in. He surely causes a lot of opponents raging because it's kind of "unfair" that he scores out of every position without the defense or the goaly to have a chance of preventing the goal

Besides the dribbling and shooting also his passing need to be mentioned. It's absolutely on point and espacially when you play with 2 strikers it's a massive advantage having one you can rely on when it comes to difficult passes.

Overall I do not understand how he costs 1 Million Coins. He is so close who Suarez when it comes to scoring a lot and a lot of goals and being a beasty striker. Also, as already managed, he's hard to play because of his body and his physical atributes so I'm pretty sure it happens a lot that someone buys him for 1kk and sells him again after a few matches cause Lukaku is not what he expected.

Conclusion:

Great card with many advantages but also a unique card which is hard to getting used to. Definetely not worth 1 Million

All ill say is this, if you only use meta players and your defence is Mendy, Varane, Gomez and Semedo this guy probably isn't the best for you. This doesn't mean he's bad though. I'm only a div 3 player so i guess my opinion isn't the best but he is by far the most fun player I've played with in a while on FIFA in general and definitely my favourite in FIFA 21.
