I loved watching Bastian bossing the midfield for Bayern and Germany in his prime. This 87 card is from the 2006 world cup bronze final against Portugal when he banged two long range shots into the back of the net. This card has to be one of the most underated base icons. He starts as a LM but can easily be changed to midfield ingame. The one thing you get with this card that the mid does not give is PACE. Oh my, with a shadow he feels rapid in the midfield. I am playing him as the box to box midfielder in the 4231 and he can do it all. He has really good longshots, good pace, good passing and decent defending. He does not get caught out of position in defense and makes great runs going forward. All the games have been played in Div 3.

I needed a winger that could play at CDM, so this new Batian Schweinsteiger looked like a machine, so I obviously bought him. Played him at both CAM and CDM, but he feels miles better at CDM. CAM at a 4-2-3-1 (2 goals 5 assists in 4 games) and CDM at a 4-4-2 sencond variation (6 games 1 goal 3 assists). He doesn't feel cluncky at all, he's actually quite agile, not like Messi or Neymar but still good. Fantastic longshots, some of the best screamers I've scored this year. Great long passes but that's pretty much it for the passing. Okay pace and defending, but insane physicality! He was an absolute tank but that 70 defending still feels like 70, even with a shadow. Overall a very fun card to use and he's defo worth the coins!

Welcome to transfer banned FC. Where I have been transfer banned but instead of making a new account im doing a pack only RTG to say f*ck you to EA. In this episode of transfer banned FC I have pulled this card out of my 5th icon pack. Submitting half my club and grinding sbcs to craft this sbc I had mixed emotions about this card.

I run a simple 4-4-2 and Basty plays as my LCM alongside RTTF Zakaria. Previously I was using Baby Icon Xavi but due to his low defensive stats and height he wasnt what I expected.

Going into this with mixed feelings Bastian was ready to run my midfield. He is like Toni Kroos but with legs. His big bulky body dominates in the midfield, he reads play exceptionally and always manages to be where I need him.

Other than cover centre I have no tactics on him. His High/High work rates excel and his 88 stamina lasts him the entire game. Being such a well rounded card stats wise I was curious to see what would excel in game.

If you were to play him as a secondary CDM alongside a more defensive minded partner its the perfect combination. He doesnt have the defensive stature to play first CDM but as that wingman and secondary cover he is perfect.

His height matches for heading duels and his balance, agility and reactions really allow him to excel .

Now the craziest thing about this card is his right foot. That foot is crazy. I dont know what makes his shooting so insane, the 93 shot power, or 82 finishing or even the 91 longshots. Whatever it is his shooting it only of that compared to gods.

Being a LM sucks. Its not fun fitting him in. If you have him, dont turn him away, give him a try. He is best played box to box. He can manage nearly everything you want him to.

Great Icon for a relatively cheap price. I bought him because I'm from Germany and he's been a Legend with our national team.

For around 450,000 you get an amazing box-to-box player with no real weaknesses which I would of course recommend to play in Central Midfield. His lowest stat (with a shadow, still) might be defending, but as a CM with a defensively solid CM/CDM, he's been doing great for me. He's really good at cutting passing lanes, his pace enables him to catch up to most opponents in midfield. Going forward he's truly a machine, you can use his pace (with shadow) in quick one-twos so well, and he seems to find open spaces to run into most of the times.

His shooting is amazing, his shot power and finishing can really punish your opponent if he comes forward as an additional offensive player in an attacking situation.

His corners are solid as well, and in terms of heading duels he wins lots of them.

The only downside would be that he's lacking in strength sometimes in crucial situations in midfield. Also you should remember that he's not good enough defensively to REALLY rely on him as being your Staubsauger (as we call it in German). Him having 3/3 is a bit of a shame, in my opinion he should have gotten at least 3/4.

Buenas, voy a comenzar esta reseña aclarando que como se ve en el texto, estará dirigida a toda la comunidad hispano-parlante de futbin que somos muchos.

Sin mas preámbulos, comenzare con la misma.

He jugado un total de solo 10 partidos con esta carta, dirán que es poco. Posiblemente tengan razón, sin embargo, me he visto obligado a hacerlo porque ha sido rotundo el cambio en mi desempeño en esta jornada de FutChamp. Debido a la adquisición de esta carta. La demarcación MI es lo de menos, lo utilizo en dos formaciones. La primera es la 3-4-1-2 una formación que me ha venido muy bien para esta jornada. Bastian ocupa la posición de todo campista box to box por detrás del delantero izq. (dybala). En esa demarcación se mueve tanto en el ultimo tercio del campo llegando no solo a asistir con su excelente pase, si no que, incluso ha marcada en todos los juegos, si en todos los juegos ha marcado desde su primer partido. La forma en que domina el campo no lo he visto en ningún otro jugador. Es sin dudas el jugador mas versátil de mi equipo y en esta jornada de FChamp, sin dudas mi mejor jugador por lejos. Solido y eficaz lo definen a la perfeccion. Ataca, Defiende y crea innumerables espacios para los delanteros. Mientras mis rivales se preocupaban por Robben, Rashford IF y Dybala que serian mis 3 jugadores de mayor nivel de ataque, Bastian ingresaba por el medio, por las bandas sin problemas y se encargaba de marcar con gran facilidad y cuando hablo de gran facilidad lo digo seriamente, define como un 9. No Tengo mucho mas para agregar aquí en la descripción, luego pondré los pros y contras( Aquí estoy seguro que no pondré nada mas que un ligero comentario) Este tipo de cartas, llamadas "tapadas" como podrían ser el caso de Nakata prime o algún otro jugador como Torreira freeze por ejemplo (todos forman parte de mi 11 titular) son de gran valor en el juego y no son para nada vistas en los equipos, que todos sabemos son básicamente todos iguales, por la falta de creatividad de los jugadores de FIFA a la hora de armar equipos, lo que ha contribuido enormemente a la caída en diversión de esta saga, la cual es mas aburrida y monótona año tras año. Si sos de los pocos jugadores que aun arman hibridos originales y prueban muchos jugadores, te recomiendo que no dejes pasar esta carta. REALMENTE IMPECABLE y MUY MUY DIVERTIDA.
