After a culmination of losses on FUT Champs and sitting on 13 wins with 8 games left I was in desperate need of some inspiration, I had 800k in the bank and wanted a player to come in and change everything. I had been a big fan of Hagi for a while and he was always on my radar, I took the chance and got him for 720k, it's fair to say I haven't looked back since. I ended up winning 7 out of my last 8 games with Hagi in the side, he had dragged my team and transformed them. I used Hagi in a 4-2-3-1 narrow playing behind Inaki Williams rule breaker and Fati and IF Lozano on the wings. If you are considering buying this card then do it, you will not regret it.
Shooting: Hagi's shooting is nothing shy of phenomenal. The most clinical finisher I have used and his shots from outside the box are lethal and always seem to trouble the keeper. Not to mention his finesse shots on his left foot always seem to find the far corner.
Dribbling: The ball sticks to Hagi's feet like glue, his close control helps him weave through players especially in tight areas. His agility and balance work really well therefore he doesn't tend to get knocked off the ball and his physicality isn't a problem due to his great balance.
Passing: His through balls are perfect, every single time. They always seem to be weighted perfectly and he is absolutely brilliant at unlocking defences that are sat in a low block. Have trouble breaking teams down who just control the CDM and let the AI do the work? Hagi will help you overcome that no problem. If you have Hagi playing in behind a pacey forward then I wish your opponents luck.
Stamina: This is his only clear negative. By the 70th minute or so his energy seems to be so much less than everyone else's, it doesn't impact him too much as he can just drop deeper and spray passes out wide however it is certainly something you should be wary of.
Acceleration: His acceleration can be slow sometimes in that initial burst of pace, it isn't terrible by any means, however he will not blaze past defenders. This isn't too much of an issue as you will get used to his ball control and dribbling to get past players instead.
In real life I am his huge fan. Powerful left foot. Pass, dribbling he has everything. In older FIFAs I used to sell him after a few matches because he was somehow really weak in-game. But not this year. He floats, he flies... I use him mostly as CAM behind SON and WERNER IF. 11 matches I played with him, 10 wins in rivals. I was in div 6 before Hagi... Now I'm div 4 player. This guy is literally a captain. All team's attacking behavior changed after Hagi.
- Agile. Can change the direction quickly.
- Passing. Even between four defenders, his passes are always to the point.
- Shooting. He doesn't have finesse skill yet his shooting is insane. Every shoot from outside the box is a threat.
- Defence. But who needs defence on an attacking-minded guy?
- Sometimes big players can bully him. But he is agile.
- MED attacking work rate but Messi's work rate is MED, too.

I got Hagi by doing icon swaps, and since he only costs 9 swaps, I can say I haven't grinded too much. I use him as a CAM/CF in 4-4-1-1, behind freeze Joao Victor, and the midfielders are TOTGS Coman, IF Goretzka, base Zakaria and silver stars Wamangituka.
I recommend using a hunter on him. With the chem style, his pace is great, maybe not Mbappe level but pretty good. His shooting is incredible, especially the long shots, also has good shot power, feels like he has 5* wf, is always in the right place at the right time, can't say very much about his volleys though. Dribbling is very nice, feels so smooth on the ball, 4* sm is good for me, I'm not a skiller myself. I'm gonna jump defending because I'm playing him on stay forward so he doesn't lose stamina. I think everyone knows that the passing is broken(in a bad way), but this guy is one of the only players who nails on almost every single pass, it's so satysfaing to see them through balls go right to the striker, who should be played on get in behind, it would pe a pity not to use those passing abilities. Physically, he ain't the best, not much stamina, but cannot say it's bad, sometimes gets bodied, but idk why, probably thanks to his body type, the ball comes back to him after he gets tackled.

I grinded icon swaps for him because he is legend for us Romanians, and I'm so glad I did. Absolutely transformed my team and puts in great performances every game. He's an excellent advanced playmaker and has done wonders for me, so I definitely recommend him to anyone especially considering the value and quality you are getting for his rather low price, and when combined with a hunter chemistry style will start running riot across the virtual field. He has truly amazed me since I got him months ago, and I will likely be keeping him until the endgame.
Vicious shooting
Hagi has ridiculous long shots and shot power, and despite not having the finesse shot trait, he's able to pull them off excellently and easily put in these chances from outside the box. A clinical finisher inside the box, as well, and all of this combines to make him a threat from all areas of the pitch. I seriously feel bad for any opponents who dare to give this man any shred of time and space, as he will gladly lash out efforts from anywhere and bury them tob-bins.
A true playmaker
Hagi's passing is simply phenomenal, able to link up and play crisp short passes as well as making weaving and weighted through passes to strikers or wide players on runs, picking them out with ease. Coupled with outstanding dribbling as he's able to weaved his way through players especially in tight areas allows him to dictate the tempo of any game, and alongside his decent kick of pace, allows him to be influential to all parts of your team.
Positioning
Hagi occupies his space very well, linking up with the mdifield and facilitating great interchange with the strikers, lying just behind him. Despite him not having the best work rates, I find him always in the right positions and constantly making runs to my surprise, sometimes even pushing as far up as my forwards. I would heavily recommend putting him in this attacking midfield role, as I feel he languishes and doesn't shine as much in other spots.
Physicality
Hagi is far from the strongest player, and will get muscled off of the ball if you're not careful. While this is nicely balanced and counteracted by his great balance, it can be a nuisance.
Stamina
You'll likely see him getting a little tired as the game goes on, but I usually have no trouble playing him until the end of the game, and in turn he has gone on to score plenty of clutch, late-minute goals for me.
