Absolutely unbelievable. The best center back I've used this year all for under 20k. makes every tackle and he is rapid despite having less than 80 pace and is better than any other centre back I have tried this year.
An absolute beast as a center back. His pace is very good (use Shadow as a style) but the most glaring thing about the card is his perfect passing values, whether short or long, the pass out to the fullback or the pass to the central defensive midfielder (in this case to Delaney), they arrive at 95%. So a good central defender to build the game but also the other stats are really good, the rating 90 in defending you really notice.
And that for 20 k . This price is unbeatable and if it were a CB from the Premier League it would be easy 80 k more.
Pace
Pass
Defending
none or maximum 1 to 2 situation that happened ( also gameplaytechnisch ) where he defended stupidly but otherwise he is really reliable
For so long ive struggled to find a CB that can do everything.Pau is as well-rounded as 91 blanc.
His pace is deceptive, compare other cbs that have +75 acceleration, 85+ strength and 90+ defending and youre left with icons, pau and Dias.
Strength and aggression are essential as i sometimes found with marquinhos lacking in these attributes.
Better than IF VVD, gold Varane comfortably.
He plays alongside otw Alaba or Ice Kounde and is the real enforcer next to them. For the price i cant find anyone better i could go with blanc but just saved the money to upgrade elsewher.
acceleration
PRICE!!!
Strength/aerial presence. Contributed like VVD would in an attacking sense
Level of defending ive only experienced with icons like blanc or vieira
He isn't rapid, suits a lower block like VVD would.
Passing and dribbling no where near otw Alaba but still haven't found a CB that is close to Alaba in these stats any way.
Insane card for the pricepoint, this guy is almost perfect defensively. Needs a shadow, but with it, he's perfectly fine pace-wise for this stage in the game. Physicality is unmatched and his passing/dribbling is really good too. Don't let the price fool you, he's an absolute monster at the back. His heading is also INSANE and I've scored a lot from corners with him.
I bought Pau cuz I wanted to try a new backline. He's an absolute beast. Recently I´ve tried van Dijk and Torres feels faster, better in defense and more physical. I´ve also tried Varane and Torres is much better.
I´ve heard some people say that he has too low PACE and AGILITY but they are better than the card says.
-Everything:
-First of all: His price. A cheap Varane/fast van Dijk.
-Some look at his PACE and say "meh". With a SHADOW on 10 chem he is ultra fast. I have one scene in my head when he is running faster than Mbappé NIF.
