Welcome to my review! I think Simon Kjaer became one of the most loved players of the game after his heroics last year, he is for sure a great player and a great person. I will however keep my review as honest a possible.
I play in elite division but only just and I usually get 11 wins in FUT Champs. I only got the game at Christmas so my team is a little bit behind in terms of total worth to most I come up against though. I picked up Kjaer because I really wanted to try Chiesa and needed some more Serie A players and I could do him for free with fodder. I launched him straight into my FUT Champs campaign this weekend. I used SHADOW chem style
PACE
8/10, he is plenty quick enough for a CB. He doesn't turn as quickly as more META (I hate that phrase) CBs but his sprint speed is noticeably fast and he can catch most strikers when they are running with the ball and he is free to run.
PASSING AND DRIBBLING
8/10, he is well capable of making the basic passes out of defence and he doesn't feel clunky on the ball. I don't use my CBs to be on the ball a lot though, obviously.
DEFENDING
10/10, he is extremely good in the tackle and he has a lot of nice animations that I haven't seen before which means he retains the ball after making the challenge. His positioning is great as well.
PHYSICAL
9/10, he has great strength and aggression! He bumps players off the ball when he goes shoulder to shoulder easily. I don't think I've seem him lose a header yet. I took a mark off for the stamina which was one of the stats that meant I nearly didn't do the SBC. He lasts 90 mins fine but when your opponent brings on the super subs in ET it got a little ropey.
OVERALL
Kjaer is a solid defender and a clear upgrade from my gold Varane I was using. Though I wouldn't say he is a must buy, especially if you already have a good team.
If you do get him he will do well for you and be a war fighter in your defence.
Defending and Physical
Stamina
So I used this card in a 4-1-2-1-2 at CB. he was partenerd up with OTW Dayot Upamecano. I liked this card but it has a few negatives. for the first one I didn't really liked his pace, I think his height really slowed him down. He is also a bit low on accelaration. And with an Upamecano you have this amazing sprint speed to get back at a bunch of fast strikers but I did not had that feeling with kjaer. His defensive awarness is good so if you position him well and you read yhe game nicely then it's an good overall CB. His agility and balance are actually decent for a CB. His passing was decent. He might lose the ball in very dangerous situations but i like to use my fullbacks so if i pass the ball with my CB's it's basicly always a short pass. I want to end with this man his physiqality. To be specific with his stamina. It's not very good and almost everyone is going to use a shadow on him so it won't get boosted neither. He can play for like 75 minutes but after that he becomes really slow and tired. But of course this man is a absolute hero. So if you are a AC Milan fan or if you are Danish I recommend this card. If you have a Serie A team i would also complete bc there are not many fast CB's in Serie A. But if youn play Fifa competetifly I would not complete this card to place him in your main team. He
