85 - Winter Wildcards
When the team got released, I instantly headed over to Niakhate's card. Due to leaks, we obviously knew he was going to be in the team, and while it's unfortunate, I was still extremely happy to see him there. I was looking for a French CB, preferably left footed, and since there were none, I knew he had to come into my team. His card had it all, good pace, defending and physicals, then he also had decent dribbling and fantastic passing. He was a must for me, so I decided to use him in a back 3 alongside Pique and Mukiele RTTK. As well as in a back 4 with him being placed at LCB.
All in all, I was very disappointed in the card, he was quite literally the perfect CB for me based on stats, and his traits such as being left footed.
Strength: He was able to move players off the ball with ease in 1v1's
Passing: Phenomenal short/long passing, I loved using driven passes with him
Terrible positioning: Often found himself behind attackers
Average tackling abilities: He wasn't able to dispossess attackers on a counter without the help of Pique
Slower than advertised: 93 pace on a shadow was just a flat lie, it felt more like 89, he couldn't catch up to anyone half quick
