Mane Flashback SBC came in a surprise from me and although I knew I won’t have enough fodder to complete him (Because I was going to spend the last fodder on Xabi Alonso TOTY) and I won’t be able to link him in my team, I still decided to get him in my team and in worst case keep him as super-sub. I spent around 100k coins and put inside a few usable players I’ve collected throughout the season, and I do not regret it because as a Liverpool fan Mane was pretty much a must get for me anyway.
To test him I created a new starting XI and put Mane (Engine chemistry) on the right wing in-game and sometimes swap the formation and let him play as second striker alongside my TOTY Benzema. It was the middle of the week and It was too late/early to hop into WL, so I jumped into Div 1. 20 Matches played, the results are 10W 3D 7L. Here’s Mane stats:

The team wasn’t too good, mainly because of the CB pair Schoterbeck and Pavard, they’re fine but made mistakes regularly and didn’t help to win games. Together with the baby version of Cech my defense wasn’t reliable to say the least. However we’re here to focus on Mane, and this man was pretty damn good, although not perfect.
He’s quick, very smooth on the ball, his passing is good, positioning and reactions are great. The speed dribbler trait is very noticeable, and here comes the first thing that disappointed me - he doesn’t have the technical dribbler trait. As a player who uses the left stick dribble and often gets into tight situations where this trait is very useful and helpful. This what makes WC Stoichkov a much better dribbler than the stats say, and this is exactly what makes Mane lose a lot of balls during the game. I had to adjust and the more games I played the less balls Mane lost, I gave him more space and the counter attacking style fits him significantly better. Now regarding his shooting and passing, he’s a typical winger here. Slightly better passing than shooting, he’s not outstanding in any of those, but still pretty good. He’ll score most of his chances, miss some, the chances he sets up for his teammates are often coming from his dribbling and not some genius passing/vision.
To summarize, TOTY Flashback Mane is a great winger or second striker option especially at this stage of the game. The SBC (around 600k) isn’t too pricey, and if you gathered a bunch of fodder during toty he’s a good sbc to throw them in. If you’re a Liverpool fan like me, or a Bayern/Mane admirer, I would recommend getting him in your team or as a super-sub. For me, FB Mane is just a fun card to use from the bench or in some fun squads to complete objectives.

I played him striker in game on 3 chem and oh my god! He has incredible pace with a hawk and his finishing is amazing. He feels very silky on the ball too.
