It's ironic in a way, for all of the criticism that Abada received for representing Israel's national team (with no other options for international football), he received more hate from his countrymen for playing for Celtic who have an extensive history of recruiting players from their own country. Hopefully, Abada can recuperate his career in Charlotte now that his supporters from Celtic and Israel no longer have a shared hatred for someone who simply chose the wrong club at the wrong time.
