might be a skill/formation issue but he is horrible for me at cm in a 442, gets absolutely destroyed every game. maybe he doesn't suit a 2 man midfield but this wl valverde was doing all the work

not skill issue -- he sucks in a two man, but is insane as the third midfielder/second cdm. pair him next to a destroyer and modric just runs the game.
