I was lucky enough to get this card from a loan player pick of 7 games from one of the store packs. Fernando Torres is one of my favorite players ever so choosing him was a no-brainer for me.

Firstly I'd like to say that this card is very inconsistent and connection dependent. In good connection with good servers, he is probably one of the best strikers in the game. However, if the servers are slow or connection is bad, he CANNOT MOVE. Therefore the below ratings are based on having good connection to the servers.

With the Pace on the card, he feels extremely quick on the ball and can very easily run in behind. He can also collect the ball from a deeper position and sprint through teams using that pace. So pace gets a 9/10.

I tried him out with the finisher chem style, so every shooting stat besides the 79 long shots did get a pretty solid boost. He does score absolutely EVERYTHING from inside the box and if you do find yourself outside the box, just finesse it(he has the finesse shot playstyle+) or even hit a trivela and he will score(As was the case in the above video mentioned earlier). All in all, the shooting is phenomenal and I think he deserves a 9/10.

Passing on the card is your average striker passing. Short passing is decent and so is the crossing but don't expect him to make long KDB type passes across the pitch. IT WON'T WORK! For passing, he deserves an 8/10(provided you are not trying long balls with him).

The dribbling on the card is the whole reason why I've gone for the finisher chem style. Getting the +8 to agility, +4 to balance and +12 TO DRIBBLING is very very useful especially with the pace that Torres does already have. He is able to keep the ball very close to his body in most situations and can wriggle through very tight gaps provided you know how to dribble. However, this is very difficult and will be hard to master as he is not a meta/small player. On average, the dribbling is just decent, BUT if you figure out how to use this card properly, the dribbling is insane! I think he deserves an 8.8/10 for dribbling(with the finisher chem style).

Defending doesn't matter but the aerial ability on this card is ridiculous. He wins every header and can score headers from the most RANDOM positions. Of course against the much bigger defenders like VVD he might not win the header every time, but when he does he will still most likely score.

Physical on the card is decent as well. If he is your idol, you are most likely going to spend the game running around with him for the full 90 minutes in which case he will not last haha. But if you use him normally like you would any other player, he should last the full 90. Strength is decent enough, the height that he has is also useful when it comes down to holding off players but against the stronger bigger defenders he will struggle. Physical gets a 7.8/10.

Overall, the best position for this card is definitely striker. The chem style depends on you and how you want to use him. Basically - for efficiency, I recommend a hawk or a hunter. - For fun, I recommend an Engine. For balance between the 2, I do recommend the finisher chem style which is what I've used. Do I think he is worth the coins? If he is your idol then yes, he is worth it. If you have 800k and you are looking for a good striker, I would still say he is worth the price as there aren't many better strikers in game for that price compared to the versatility that Fernando Torres offers. He can do it all. However, like I said, it does depend on the connection for whatever reason unfortunately haha.
